Yeh mate, sad news. Remember hearing that Steve Febey can not even walk a round of golf because his ankle is shagged.

No doubt the players are paid handsomely, they do put their bodies through hell, some of which lingers long after they are retired.

I remember John Fidge well a great talented strong Footballer with a powerfull Will. A great guy. I wish him well & all the success with this support he needs and deserves.

I have no problem with the players asking for 27% of the AFL Pie.

And i think all past players should be looked after, at least on a medical front.

If it means the p;layers go on strike this year or next year....so be it.
