Fatigue is always going to happen in the 3rd Q. Get used to it, thats the rule.

Wouldn't that rule be the same for both teams then?

typical dees supporter to say we would be happy with a 7 goal win

absolute rubbish we would, 10+ goals is acceptable

harden up and away with mediocrity

This. If we're a finals team we should be beating this VFL-at-best side by 10+ goals.

and u would think under fatigue we would be better skilled and our efficiency would be higher

i get over weak minded supporters, we need to create a ruthless clubb

17 - 9 tackle count this qtr isnt humidity, its effort and guts

Exactly. I wanted 20 goals today - it's still a chance, but we're slacking off.

Watts needs to come on right now, Magin's fresh legs made an immediate impact.

You're not getting it. Fatigue/heat/humidity affects both sides!

When did we last play a full game in HUMID conditions..i get it alright. A night game would have been far easier.

I dont buy it. How often have GC played a full game in HUMID conditions?

Yeah, because the GC kids are so experienced in those conditions right? Your argument is laughable.

I am not a weak supporter at all, and yes i would love a ruthless club, and it will happen, but you underestimate Humidity.

Having spent a lot of time in Asia i know how draining it can be. We could still pull away in the last Q

Well there are two sides to this.

Yes, it isnt good enough.

But on the other hand, we will manage 2 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss while playing terribly.

They have been training and Hydrating in those conditions for over a year, so i give them some credit.

Waste of Jack Watts develop today. Gotta get games into him not 25mins

wouldnt humidity have an effect in the last qtr too?

by sayn we were effected that qtr and may pull away in the last aren't u being somewhat contradictory?

anyways bailey needs to be under pressure, we havent played well for four weeks

if we dont lift soon, decent sides will pump us and then everyone will whinge

habits need to be formed and average form and medicrity isnt a habit i want to form

They wont the quarter by 1 point. Relax.

when playing Melbourne they have won there first Quarter and also been in front for the first time.

anything under a 11 goal win is a loss really

Sounds like Jurrah's been subbed off.

Sounds like Jurrah's been subbed off.

No issue with that. No point him getting squashed by KHunt and getting injured now.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
