That might be your Christmas priority list, mate, if Christmas is all about giving presents.

As someone that doesn't celebrate Xmas, there are a few things I really don't get. But what frustrates me most is that mosty people seem to focus on buying people presents as being what Xmas is all about. It's really strange to me.

Stories about "those less fortunate" pop up this time of year. But we're apparently supposed to feel for these people because they can't afford to buy presents for loved ones or don't have loved ones to give them presents. What about the rest of the year when they're stuggling to afford to eat or find a roof to sleep under? As long as they get a Xmas present everything will be alright...

By the way, I also feel bad for the white people who witnessed those illegal immigrants die while trying to jump the que to get into our country. They'll be scarred for life... well a few weeks at least.

rpfc is correct. Start a thread on the General Discussion board for this vent.

Back to the Demon shop thread>>

They've done a pretty good job given the circumstances. Thanks to RR for posting that update from the shop too...

Ugh. Wanna-be moderators are the best

Huh?

This thread is about the Demon shop and the new jumpers, and you have taken it on a 'charity once a year isn't worth it' and 'we should feel sorry for those that died and not those that saw the deaths' race baited tangent.

I take threads on tangents all the time but yours is a provocative one and is better placed on another board, your own blog, or the comments section under a YouTube video.

I'm sure you will get a number of thumbs up! So that's good...

Really wanna get my hands on one of the NQR tops xl if someone got one and they don't want it? Email me [email protected] would really really appreciate it!!!

I was in the shop today and all they had left were 4XL in the home jumpers (plenty of variety in the alternate jumper). Tom the guy working there swapped one of my large ones for a 2XL which one of the players had trained in. It had only be worn once by a player so my brother took that one, I'm sure Tom would extend you the same favour.

Saw new jumpers in Rebel today. Are these defective ones? I'm colour blind so don't ask me if it was orange stars or royal blue blue.

$99 I think.

Melbourne shop website says March for new ones. Presumably Rebel wouldn't get priority so they must be old?

Must ask them and see what they say. (and yes, would prefer to buy from demon shop, but daughters birthday is next week and she has a voucher for there.

My girlfriends mum bought me one from the AFL store for Christmas, so it's obviously a defective one, but to be honest, I don't really care, when I wear it I don't really see myself looking at the stars on the back, or the thin line of discolouration on the emblem, I'll probably be focussing more on watching the footy

    TRAINING: Monday 11th November 2024

Veteran Demonland Trackwatchers Kev Martin, Slartibartfast & Demon Wheels were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to kick off the official first training session for the 1st to 4th year players with a few elder statesmen in attendance as well. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Beautiful morning. Joy all round, they look like they want to be there.  21 in the squad. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. Once again the club’s top goal scorer but he had a few uncharacteristic flat spots during the season and the club will be looking for much better from him in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The first round draft pick at #13 from twelve months ago the strongly built medium forward has had an impressive introduction to AFL football and is expected to spend more midfield moments as his career progresses.
