This is turning into a rout ... still nervous JV?

I wont be settled until it's litreally impossible for them to come back

That missed point after forces the Pats to go for 2 after any TD they might get from here on in ... I reckon it's academic now anyway.

Falcons just recovered an onside kick and if they score again from this drive, it's all over.

Big time play by Jones ... preceded by a great run by Freeman.

That's what you call stepping up!

A sack & a penalty at the worst possible time.

That's just crazy

Atlanta should have had this stitched up.

You must feel quite ill JV ... and who could blame you?

This is crazy

This sport never ceases to surprise

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

For a brief period of time in the early afternoon of yesterday, the Casey Demons occupied top place on the Smithy’s VFL table. This was only made possible by virtue of the fact that the team was the only one in this crazy competition to have played twice and it’s 1½ wins gave it an unassailable lead on the other 20 teams, some of who had yet to play a game.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

In my all-time nightmare game, the team is so ill-disciplined that it concedes its first two goals with the courtesy of not one, but two, fifty metre penalties while opening its own scoring with four behinds in a row and losing a talented youngster with good decision-making skills and a lethal left foot kick, subbed off in the first quarter with what looks like a bad knee injury.

  • PREGAME: Geelong

After a one-year reprieve, the Demons return down the freeway to Kardinia Park — the site of both one of our greatest triumphs and one of our darkest days — as they face the Cats under Friday night lights. This one could get ugly. Who comes in, and who comes out?
