i've started to dislike demtriou every since brownlow night...the way he read the brownlow votes out wasn't right in my opinion...his stupid pauses weren't needed. it was a night for the players.

during the afl grand final they cut to him sitting next to the prime minister julia gillard.

he makes well over a mil a year and the afl is in great shape at the moment...so i think this is starting to go to his head.

IMHO ... deserves every cent he gets. Tough job to sit in the middle between two passionate self interested clubs in many discussions. Personally I find it difficult to personally criticise him, because I appreciate the difficult nature of his position.

However, I'm a biased Melbourne supporter, so I'm never going to think he is always right.

I think he's too old and we'd have to give up too much to get him.

Still better than PJ though.

just look out for red dots appearing on your body :)

Too fat, too slow and butchers the footy whenever he gets it.

Pass!

Exactly the same as when he played 30 odd years ago....Hack!!!!

He has turned the AFL into the big, prime-time sport that it is.

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
