There is no other choice after the sewerage pipe fiasco but for the two competing clubs to withdraw and for the AFL to declare the 2010 season a "no result".

    Let's go one step further and declare the winning team in the Kaspersky Cup match to be played in a few weeks' time in Shanghai as the 2010 AFL premier.

    The Chinese did a great job in getting the facilities for the Beijing Olympics up to scratch and it wouldn't be too hard to get 100,000 spectators to the ground in a city of 20 million people.
