Not another year of getting respect - we should be aiming at the finals this year.

If you set your targets low, you'll probably achieve them.

Our CEO is a smart man i have no doubt, but there is one factor that is going to Drive the entire MFC next year & Beyond...which just may push the club to greater heights quicker than many expect. Jim Stynes, after watching that Doco last sunday i think everybody is going to push that bit harder...i hope so.

Tough call isn't it? Do we want to be like Hawthorn and get there quick, pinch hit a flag, then drop off, or do we want to build a group that will take a bit longer to get there, but when they do, pile on 3 or 4 flags in a period of time (aka Brisbane, Geelong, possibly the current Collingwood)?

I'd love to see a flag next year, but if I have to wait a couple more years to see us challenge for multiple flags, I'd take that too!

There's no reason that we should drop off if we make it earlier than expected, but there's no reason Hawthorn should've dropped off either.

I wont be expecting finals next year, I'll expect improvement again. If it means September then great, if not, as long as we continue to move forward I'm fine with that.

Hawthorn only stumbled because Trent Croad's Foot Exploded during the 2008 GF. We have the makings of a top side already, that will evolve each year.

Pre Season at Melbourne this year should be amazing with our new facilities-Excuses are no longer acceptable. The Boys will hopefully want to walk in and just say "Let's Go".

Bailey is a Gun Mate, look at his persona over the last 3 years. I was worried until Round 2 this year i will admit-But after that game he has my full backing. Between Bails, Jim, CC, and CS and our board there is no reason why this club cannot achieve Prolonged success.

Sure we have a lot of young kids, but so do Collingwood. List Management is crucial, as is Player Solidarity. We all have to be pushing in the one direction.

After we Resigned with the MCC i knew this was possible, nobody was ready for Stynesy's Sickness, but that should bring a stronger resolve.

it is a realistic analysis given where we are at. If you are expecting top 6 like mike sheahan next year, you need your head read.
