I bet Dick will play. Just a pessimistic gut feeling.

Ive got that feeling to, he dominated last time he played us id rather have o'bree in.

The report i heard is that o'bree has done is ankle at traing and dick is definately coming in for him. Not sure if that helps us or not to be honest. Could help us win the contested possessions though.

It is football Rhino, there is physical contact, feel free to go barrack for the Phoenix instead if you don't like it.

Feel free to go back and actually read and digest what I wrote before commenting again, your continuing efforts to disagree when you have actually missed the intitial point is ridiculous.

You have tried to turn it around to make it sound like I want biff and brawling, but that's not what I said at all.

I think you will find that Rhino has tried to turn the discussion into something that suits him rather than what it was actually about.

Dont let it bother you mate.. Tried to do it to me in the 'Vs port' thread..i just rolled him and moved on - like you've just done.

Rhino Richards changes terms and statements around to fit he's own arguement, because he just HAS to be right and all high and mighty..

Many people have pointed it out, i think its just a running joke now.

If you want a conversation of substance you'll have to look elsewhere!

Now back on topic -

i hope Dunn brings a bit of muscle and agro to the forward line.. especially with Miller doing his usual 'nothing'..

If Dunn can kick a couple and have a hand in a couple of goals each match-he'd be doing exactly what we need him to and what miller and Watts aren't doing atm..

He finished off the last half of last season really well.. So here's hoping he can continue from where he left off..

The forward line is crying out for a player of his type to grab a spot and own it - hope he can.. cant wait to find out.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
