If you haven't seen the game

If you're like me and you didn't get to see the game live last night, there's an easy way to see it:

http://www.gameanalyser.afl.com.au/Default.aspx

The full game is there. Just go to Round 9. Completely free, and legal, and pretty good quality too. And not that bad commentary from the Foxtel team.

Thanks for the link, I only saw the second half in a pub so keen to see how it all started.

Does that footage contain the team song?

Can't believe Foxtel didn't capture that. Useless pay TV idiots

Unmetered on Bigpond, WOOO.

I've used 2.2 gb today, from watching first quarter and a bit of the second :o

Thanks Titan! I was so disappointed to have not seen it. A definite bookmark.

"The boys sang in the cool room and the Foxtel lads couldn't fit" is what Cam Schwab had to say about that.

Thanks Titan.

Just tried to watch it, and the 2nd quarter keeps looping so I cant watch the 2nd half. Has anyone else had this issue? Any idea how to fix it?

EDIT: Sorry, problem solved.

Yeh that happened to me. The best way is to find something in the selectable features (goals, behinds etc.) that is close to the start of the second half. Try Cassisi's free kick (you'll miss a few seconds).

That thing is awesome for those of us a long way away. The first time I've been impressed with AFL.com.

It's actually pretty good. Agree its the first time Telstra has it right.

Also good to select the frees or goals. You can watch them without all the pay in between. Watching the frees in particular gives am interesting perspective.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
