Melbourne Celtics...

Seriously, keep the Demon!

Would absolutely raise awareness/interest no doubt- the name 'Redlegs' is very unique in this world of domesticated animals and pier workers we live in- however would this interest raised translate to anything beneficial at the end of the day? I don't think it would do us any harm to use the name on special occasions- heritage round or maybe versus the cats... but I don't want to ditch the "Demons"- they are who I support.

Then you're going to love "the emblem" coming soon...

More info please?

For all of you who got upset with this thread. Relax! It was just a thought. It got an Almighty reaction! I like it. Passion running wild. Go Dee's!

Yeah great idea, we could even put a mini church in the change rooms and have all the players pray before they run out onto the G. Maybe they can have a couple of priests run out with them as well.. just for a bit of holy spirit. but im worried that might upset some of our valued Jewish supporters... so how about we have a priest and a rabbi run out with the boys....

Or maybe you can just barrack for the Saints...

I love the name Demons and would never support a change to the "redlegs"

Go Dees

I'm a believer and feel a little uncomfortable with the Demon name, however,I reconcile my conundrum knowing that the best saints (not the red balck and white ones) know there demons. So I'm a Red and Blue demon through and through
