What additions do we need to our list

In fact it was quite the opposite. He was terrible. Those who thought he was the better ruckman really have no clue what a ruckman is and should do on the ground.

I'd value most of their judements rojic to yours.

OK he has a big and sturdy body but has no physical presence, can influence contests, poor overhead (you got that and hey that includes rucking). You have been sucked by his rover like skills but have overlooked that he has none of the needed skills. He stands 200 cm or so and plays about 170 cm.

Thats what I said, 'as long as he doesn't try to do too much.

Good give him a Nivea skin care commercial

You'd be better with theose metrosexual issues.

Do you think other clubs are that naive???

We'll see.

Given GC have the first 6 to 7 picks, Round 3 gets you pick 40 to 58. Hardly worth splitting hairs considering we will struggle to use our three picks if we elevate McKenzie and Spencer. Also if we were to trade for a player of equal quality ...we would we bother?

He could have a new home.

PJ is finished in AFL.

Maybe. We don't know yet.

I've coloured for you in your best. LOL...

Now you can return to your dutch courage old boy.

If I were you I'd stay off the stuff.

You don't even know who you are replying to yet we are s'posed to take your opinion seriously? Bump this at the end of the year when PJ is delisted and passed up in both drafts and we can all have a good laugh.

*I barely drink. I don't enjoy it that much. Only once in a while will I get drunk. If I go to a pub I'll have 2 - 3 over a couple of hours.

*Yep we'll see if PJ gets a chance or not, I hope he does. Either way it's no skin off my nose other than to wish him well.

However, if you cant see the merit in trying to find a trade for PJ for around 50 something, & then trying to use that trade for a Jamie Charman, who is likely to be moved on then I think you don't have any imagination.

Sorry its truly a dumb idea..Charman is so injury prone he makes Meesen look like the $6 million man. Why would we get rid of one hack only to recruit a player whose body is past it. He is a crock. About the worst strategy you could undertake.

"THE struggling, injury-hit Brisbane Lions have suffered another blow with sidelined ruckman Jamie Charman ruled out for the season.

Charman has not played a senior match in 2010 after injuring his ankle in the pre-season but won't return until next year after undergoing surgery last Thursday suffering a setback in his recovery.

The Lions initially expected the problem would keep him out for two months."

Charman has been injured all this year and missed 44 games through injury in the previous 5 years. Hmm ruckman with chronic foot injury....ring any alarm bells.

At the end of the year Melbourne will trade for a key forward. They see it is really important to get a developed key forward at the club next year.

I dont know who they will get but they will get one at the end of the year and they will offer heaps of money to that player.

If true, thank god for that!

Our forward line stinks at the moment...with apologies to Matty Bate.

Source? Or just the usual speculation?

Bold thoughtless prediction.

Its fair to think that we may look for a key forward.

Maybe not such a good call in that we will 'offer heaps of money'.

My source is that there has been talk from the coaches about getting a mature body in the forward line and Chris Connolly said on SEN about five weeks ago saying that we need to get a big, strong forward in the trade.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
