"Hang on - Scully, Scully, you little ripper!" That's magic!!!

wow what about the big roar!!

and trengove is one pumped man lol

i jumped out of my seat when i saw Scully with his hands on the ball, I just knew his first goal was coming.

Just watched the clip at the end which had Scully & Trengove on the footy show. Sam in his stupid fashion had scully stand up next to Hall & Brown, and made a snide remark on how he will be playing against these two giants.... Ahh, Sam you [censored] wit, Scully has torn the game apart, and destroyed the Lions on Saturday night. Sam Newman is a [censored].

14 touches is hardly 'tearing the game apart'. He had a service-able game.

I think somebody is missing the point.

Yes he was heavily tagged for thwe first three quarters til he broke free in the last. it will be something he and Tenners will have to live with from now on. Anyway, it means that the opposition if they are tagging two of our young guns they won't be able to match our "highway" in the corridor. As the commentary said "Demons - the transition kings".

I would bck our tow in any case to out run any tagger, especialy Scully.

It is looking good

It's not how many touches he had, it's the class of those touches.

His hands are just crazy, and his run significantly helped us pressure the scoreboard. He is having an impact on games already, which is something to marvel at given he is half the size of most players out there.

What do you expect from a 5 gamer? Unfair expectations. Greedy supporter.

The exciting thing is this kid has the goods already. He also has an elite engine which can't be taught. Put the skills and the engine together and not only has he shown himself to be a "service-able" AFL player already(at 18y/o and 5 games), but he's scope is sky high! If that can't at least raise an eyebrow with excitement for you good sir- good luck getting any kind of joy out of life at all..

what i also loved about that goal was Scully had no fear in running the ball, he had McDonald & Bate shepherd for him, while he loaded up from just inside 50.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
