I wonder what the role pertains as GM of commercial operations. Does Peter take over the role from John Poulakakis .

Peter Maynard had a brief and not very glittering career with the Demons. He played 8 games mainly as a defender in 1980/81 (no wins) before going to Glenelg in the SANFL for in excess of 200 games. Let's hope he finally hits a winning note early this time around.

If he is the best man for the job then that is just fantastic news for the club! Passion breeds passion.

Not sure thats totally fair to be honest. he has had a very good professional career, he is another positive off field addition.
