Let's just say there is no more trading, we could potentially have a draft outcome like this!

1. Scully

2. Trengove

11. Panos

18. Jetta

2 quality (goal kicking) mids

Our big forward that everyone is asking for with this pick

A speedy wingman to complement Scully and Trengove

this is what i thought would have been ideal if we don't go the butcher option at 2. the only thing is the way i wanted to get that extra first round pick was to get rid of bruce.

That deal's far too generous. Why not just trade our pick 50 for pick 5 - ie, a straight swap? Surely, like all of the other bullet-proof suggestions on this site, it's possible ...

I would very much like to get hold of Ports Pick 8. Tapscott would be great to go with two KPP at Pick 11 and Pick 18!

Im surprised you haven't decided to jump ship and support GC17... or will you just wait until before next year's draft..?

All comedy aside, I'd like us to trade picks 11 and 18 for 6,7 or 8... It's quality we need not quantity. Syndey and Port need quantity, WC probably the exception. Also means we need to delist one less.

It's Game Day on Friday night. ANZAC Eve. The big stage at the ‘G. Under the lights, in front of a packed house, this is where moments are made. Can the Dees rise to the occasion and deliver on the big stage, or will Richmond spoil the night? All the build-up, discussion, and in-game reactions here. Go Dees.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

Before Sunday, the last time the Brisbane Lions had walked onto the turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, they celebrated the pinnacle of the sport - an AFL premiership secured in emphatic fashion for the second consecutive year.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
