Melbourne v St. Kilda - the squads

Yeah,

The emergencies are all gone! Valenti, Martin and McNamara... If you get dropped in round 22 you are not valued...

I'd delist Cheney ahead of McNamara. Cheney has terrible disposal, it has not improved at all this year.

i would be very shocked if velenti is delisted has shown enough plenty of players in front of him on chopping block

I agree he is ahead of others that are safe.

But it isn't as simple as that - Valenti is a second year rookie, is has to be delisted from the RL or elevated by the end of this year. Those are the only two options.

If the FD cannot find a spot for him he will go into the draft, and as CB has already stated, I hope a club looks very hard at him.

rpfc as I understand it, another option is to give him a 3rd year on the rookie list. But it would mean he would first be eligible to be picked up by any club in the ND and PSD. If no one wants him then, we can keep him on the rooklie list for one more year.

Very disappointing that Shane Valenti was dropped, i dont see us keeping him now, i hope he does find a new club he is good enough to sustain a spot on most lists, just the fact that we have too many similar players.

Tom MacNamara should be safe wee put a lot of development into him and his shown some real good signs.

Perhaps the end for P.J, though i think the FD will keep Miller.

I would be very disappointed if McNamara was delisted. Especially considering the likes of Newton, Bell, Dunn, Miller, Johnson and Bartram won't all be going. McNamara and Cheney are much younger and I think both have shown some promising signs this year. With limited game time, too.
