    Essendon could be in severe problems in 2-3 years. Once their aged "stars" Retire.

    I agree, WYL. I love it when Essendon loses, but I have a soft spot for Matty Knights. I loved the way he played footy, and really admired his guts and creativity.

    My footy mates and I met him one day, during his playing days, when he had a part-time job as a barman at the MCG hotel. He was a great guy to talk to. But he didn't disclose much about his opinion of John Northey, who was their coach at the time, and who'd been so great at the MFC.

    I fear for him , though, at Essendon, after such bad losses. A lot of people at Essendon want their favourite son, Jimmy, back as coach.
