Team slogan?

I think we really need a team slogan again. Something from the song, something cliche/corny often does the trick.

EG) "Hearts beat true" etc

and we need to put it on the websight and start to try to stand for something

if u look at the collingwood websight, they are often updating the top bar, and now they are using the slogan "side by side"

-they often post new videos

-they have this http://membership.collingwoodfc.com.au/ --which acts as a very user friendly interface

-and evenhas this video down the botton, called the latest "side by side"clip http://bigpondvideo.com/CollingwoodTV/94670

-they even have a whole lot of benefits listed that put ours to shame

http://membership.collingwoodfc.com.au/ind...=3&Itemid=4

-i know it is the wrong time to be showing all of this because collingwood arent a good example right at the moment, but our websight is very bland and rarely gets updated

-we need to be more exiting off the field and get ourselves a slogan and a good websight

"2009 Members Tattoo Sheet"

LOL, they're probably real too!

Nothing wrong with tattoos, even if I don't have any I can still admire them, some.

But maybe the toffs around couldn't bare the pain of a needle buzzing their skin.

so, perhaps we should get some transfer stickers that ONE could wash off 10 min's later, or at one's whim.

Good thinking NJ

Huge opportunity for the club to promote its self. Media students could get real work exposure doing videos of training and club info at little cost to the club

There must be media students in Casey that would be up for it

"Keep Your Eye on the Red and the Blue" and "Every Heart Beats True" are simply two golden lines, not to mention "The Emblem for me and for you"

Some good points there nugget...we can take a few pointers from the filth (pubs being a notable exception), and I think more MFC viral marketing video's would be great to reach the 15-24 demographic.

I'd like to see more special offers from the MFC re sponsors, suppliers, partners etc...its a good win-win and I think we're working on that.

As for the slogans, all good "heart beats true" I think will be a perennial favourite.

As for the filth's "side by side" I'd modify it slightly..."sideswipe by sideswipe, Dids, did you see that possum?".

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
