i sure hope in hell that the demon comes back on our logo. the last president tried to kill the demon, not one piece of demon logo was used in our merchandise in 2008. Now i know the demon and he was not very happy, with his exit from the club ,he was very upset so upset in fact that he made sure that we had a season from hell, you cant sell your soul to the demon, and then without his permission get ride of him. So please jimmy bring him back, or other wise this upcoming season will be worse then the last. JUST A FRENDLY WARNNIG

I would presume that someone like Gardiner being in the Advertising/Marketing field would have believed that a DEMON logo would be harmful to sponsorship oppurtunities

I see his point but he forgot he isnt selling merchandise

The whole reason for changing from a flower to a demonic figure was based on the football team ON THE FIELD

Several clubs also adpoted more fearsome logo,s in the early days

Fitzroy changed from Gorillas to Lions

Hawthorn from Mayblooms to Hawks

etc

I spotted the demon at Hungry Jacks last week, he was wearing a trench coat and sun glasses and a big hat, but you could tell it was him, I hope he accepts Jimmy's request to put the red and blue jumper back on for 09' lol

Bring back the '70's china man Demon!! Now he was a class act. Or the Demon from late 60's Twistie Packs-Very Reptillian looking Creature

SELL TRIDENTS TO EVERYONE AT THE GROUND!!! Lets get EVIL

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.
