Read the report. Compare to the vast majority of posters' opinions to what was written there and you notice how often people on this site are completely off the mark.

Simple.

Well I never, internet opinion varies from the coaches.

FWIW I take little notice of published coaches reports anyway, usually sugar-coated and filled with cliche.

I read the report on Demonology and it's actually very clever and not altogether far off the mark.

We need to cut the coach some slack given the problems he has faced in his initial season but I think he should be on top of his match ups and issues such as the accountability of defenders. For us to give a virtually free rein on occasion to the likes of Schneider and Milne is something that the coach must bear the responsibility for such things. It's also an indictment on the club that Sam Fisher and Jason Gram could play a full game and say they didn't know who their opponents were. Even those at the club who are happy to keep losing simply to pick up a #1 draft selection can't be too happy about some of the things that are happening at the moment.

Not so much happy to lose WJ but would be livid if in the 2nd half of the season we played NQR veterans and won 5 games, instead of putting development time into the kids.

If the kids win more then 4 then thats OK because at least we know we've got something to work with going forward.

Amazingly the official coaches report published on Demonology differs from the reports by the EXPERTS???????

on Demonland.

I can't find the post on Demonology

you have just simply put the obvious.

You don't have to think to be able to post..

Y_M is the prime example!!:lol::lol::lol:

Clearly. I was wondering why there was any confusion. I found the report to be a window into DBs mind as I hadn't seen one yet this year. Maybe it was a bit screened, but between the lines I found there was plenty there to get stuck into.

I used to take no notice of them too, but that was during NDs reign where they were crowd-pleasing mutterings that gave no insight.

We can't afford to cut Bailey slack. The Gold Coast are knocking on the door now if we have another year like this they will be smashing it down. We have been belted for 7 out of 10 games I don't care that this is his first year this is not good enough by anyone's standards we are looking more like Fitzroy by the week. This can't go on he is wasting his time he can't rebuilt the club quick enough for us to survive the only thing he can do now is destroy the club even more.

Holland was a bit unlucky well fark me what an understatement. What does he have to do to get a game? He will continually play players who continually tease us and provide nothing for the club like Miller, P.J and Sylvia though.

I agree with Magic Bruce needed a blinder after his woeful performance against the Hawks and he did nothing. He's our captain he should be doing better not getting honouable mentions by a [censored] coach.

Oh please. This is pure hyperbole.

He's got no idea..I fear promoted beyond his capabilities

I can't help but laugh whenever some hero on the internet claims that a senior coach has no idea.

I like Dean, and think he will be a tremendous coach.

But I have no idea why he said Bruce was good on the weekend, cos he was horrible ..... again.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
