Aussie -Rising Star Nomination -Rd7

I'd like to see Yze accept that his time might be at an end. Having said that, Yze doesn't strike me as the most selfless individual, so perhaps it will come from somebody else. Would be a champion gesture from Ooze though, who on the balance has been a champion for this club.

Yze will play again. If he hasn't commanded a game and stays fit there will be a 'tribute' style game to send him and Neitz (and maybe some others) off in style.

Well done Austin-I knew that this would happen. you have been a bright spark in 2008.

I wish you a long and Prosperous carreer as a Champion Demon. Good Luck.

It was nice of Channel 10 to have no mention or story of Aussie winning this weeks rising star this week, like they did for Cyril Rioli last week.

Does Quarters have a say in what stories get covered in the sports section?

They did do a story about him winning the Rising star this week.

It was sort of like a mini press confrence after training, He was very nervous and shy and Bailey had to help him along a little bit when he didn't know what to say. Watching it made me love him even more

They will probebly show it again on sports tonight wich is on in like 15 minutes...

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
