  1. We should probably be thanking Chris Johnson for walking out on us which freed up a spot on our list for Jurrah.
  2. Christensen will probably be a top 10 pick at the very least first round. So he definitely won't be there at our fourth pick.
  3. IMO Allen Christensen is the best mid behind Scully, And if we had picks #1 and #2 right now i would take him at #2 because IMHO Butcher hasn't shown enough to warrant being picked at #2. But there is still plenty of time for Butcher to prove himself before the draft. And on a side note i don't rate Morabito as a top five pick either.
  4. Kane Lucas will be the first W.A player to be picked in the draft, He is much better than Morabito.
  5. I'm pretty sure Bailey said he was 191cm.
  6. I think the reason they gave for him being our most important player is very valid, And would have to agree with them.
  7. This is the best team they have fielded all Pre-Season.
  8. Some pictures have started coming through in this LINK if anyone is interested.
  9. If this game was played with the same rules as the Nab cup, Then maybe green and McLean were used as substitutes?.
  10. Bail has been named in the offical sqaud, With meesen, valenti and Zomer being named as emergencies. So i don't know what bailey was on about.....
  11. Yep, If you click on the pics it makes them bigger and tells you who they are. EDIT: undeeniable beat me to it.
  12. The video has also been uploaded to youtube.
  13. Here's a good article on jurrah and his home town, And also a picture of him in a melbourne jumper. Jurrah draft turns town red and blue
  14. Robbo will be ready to go round 1, And is planning to play in the Pre-Season.(NAB CUP) This is part of an interview with Robbo: Over the next two months, I'm going to be going through a lot of stress and duress with it, but in terms of strength the achilles is really strong. I'm really genuinely excited about the pre-season games and I can't wait to start – I'm 99.9 per cent sure [i'll be playing]. When I ruptured my achilles, the physios and doctors said: 'It sounds ridiculous, but it's probably a good time to do it'. We were at the bottom of the ladder, we weren't going to be playing finals and it was a six-month injury. They said: 'You're not going to miss next year'. So that was a positive in a really dismal time. It was a really appalling time for me. So we're five months down the track and I'm looking forward to stepping up my training with the team we've got.
  15. Davey has bulked up alot as you can see in these photo's from training last month.(Especially the one With Wonaeamirri in the backround) Melbourne Training
  16. Iv'e heard that he will be playing for Sandy very soon. Probably not this week but the one after. It's terrible that Robbo got injured but because he is out for the season that means that Wona and Valenti can both stay on the senior list when Grimesy comes back.
  17. Well, Naitanui was B.O.G today and absolutley murdered his opponent in the ruck. And he certainly backed up everything i said about him earlier in this thread. He is the best talent i have ever seen and is just amazing to watch. Naitanui will(already does) bring fans to the game, even people who don't go for either team will come to watch him play.
  18. Naitanui jumped higher than 2m. 2m is just the qualifying height....
  19. Wow 4 goals in a warmp up/practice match and all of a suuden he should be the number 1 pick........Naitanui is way ahead of any one else and is a lock to go at number 1.(anybody who has seen him play would agree with this this)
  20. The amount of uneducated comments in this thread is amusing. Naitanui will 100% go at number 1. And who ever said Rich is a jet is very wrong because he has average pace and is a tough sort of player(wich we don't need), He has a very accurate kick and can clear about 60 metres wich he uses to good effect. He has been ok in the WAFL but hasn't lived up to the expections wich were placed on him wich has seen him slip back to the pack and is rated only slightly higher than Michael Hurley and Chris Yarren. But we will have to wait until after the U/18 Champs to see how highly rated he is against players his own age. The first thing i'm gunna say about Naitanui is that his skills and disposial of the ball are good and people always assume that just because he's such a good athlete that his skills are bad, well there not!!. One of Naitanui's best attributes is his pressure and second efforts he is super fast and tackles like a mad man, He has a big physical presence on the field even in the WAFL against men. He also gets alot of centre clearances. The Leap, He's running vertical leap was so high that they couldn't even messure it. He cleared the 2m qaulyfing height at a school athletics meet to represent Fiji at the Olympics. The West Coast recruiting manager(who watches him alot) said Naitanui would have no trouble going up against Sandilands because he would just jump all over him. Naitanui has grown to about 198cm but should grow to about 200cm. He has been averaging 22 hitouts against men(alot of them are on AFL lists) in the WAFL so i can't wait to see what he does in the U/18 Champs.
  21. http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=441797 The rumor sounds extremely similar doesn't it. Exept it's about Miller....
  22. They did do a story about him winning the Rising star this week. It was sort of like a mini press confrence after training, He was very nervous and shy and Bailey had to help him along a little bit when he didn't know what to say. Watching it made me love him even more They will probebly show it again on sports tonight wich is on in like 15 minutes...
  23. This rumor is completley false. The exact same rumor was started in the carlton board on big footy exept it was about Brad Miller.
