Drove up yesterday,it's now 2 1/2 hours with the geelong bypass. Noticed we now have some maturity in the ranks. But still have players from the old regime,they will be gone in the next 2 years. Spots in the team are not easy to get and will be tougher by years end,any bludgers look to be getting whittled out of the squad and trade time this year should see the list go to the next step. The spine whilst not perfect,has the look of a top 8 team, The mids need a bit more work and that will eventuate over the Pre and next draft.
