We have a lot of work to do! The young guys really showed something early - but we should have run them out in the end. All in all a good result considering we had no forward line and GC are a good team now! Liked Viney, Watts, Tappy, Kent, Clisby and Strauss (early - before the knock) Didn't like: Byrnes, Nicho

Lighten up! Gold Coast are a good team - they already have 6 wins for the year. We aren't getting thrashed, our youth are really showing something and we are playing exciting quick corridor footy. What did you expect?

Loving the stuff from our younger boys: Viney (11 touches in first Q) Kent (showing up Blease) Clisby (great offensively) Strauss (Great offensively and has laid some good tackles) Tappy (attacks every contest and is a good lead up player) Watts (Watts is finally a man - he now has balls) We are spreading in the middle and taking the game on. The umpires are a joke tho and the commentators are trying to find any excuse possible to explain why Ablett doesn't have 30 touches already.

Good post DeeVoted! Very ordinary list of players there - all will be fighting to keep their place on the list next year (except maybe Blease). Nice to get another persons view of the list. Will there be an E to H analysis?

1 million are you sure? I recently heard that the AFL and Essendon had spent a combined total of about 2-3 million and I assumed they would have spent a lot more than us. (all the Essendon staff/players basically have their own lawyers). We should have just hired Harvey Specter - he could have won it single handed and even if we lost at least we would look a million bucks!

They haven't yet announced the final teams for tonight's games. (I think they announce the final teams at the same time as the sub - so about one and a half hours before the game) I am preying that Strauss does come in though! (that would mean I have something to look forward to - doesn't make the losses as bad when you are studying the new comers)
