....more like Kim Jong Un
-
I doubt he had 24 handballs
-
Missed the ball or the goals?
-
I probably should have kept my mouth shut.

I wouldn't blame the AFL for turning a blind eye. We can't risk damaging the reputation of the AFL anymore - whats done is done but that doesn't mean it can't be prevented in the future
-
Casey usually like to fade away in the 3Qrt right? I think they like close finishes.
-
Dawes was recruited as a full forward. Watts will never be a full forward - he is more of a forward flank or wing man. Hopefully in years to come Watts will be able to be a high forward who drifts up the ground (wing) and can take some pack marks, use his pace and nail a 50m pass to a leading Clark, Dawes, Hogan or Fitzy.
-
His name does get a bit annoying when it comes to the match report tho. Is he tall enough for AFL?
-
Any updates on Gawn, Taggert, Blease, Toumpas, Tynan or Barry would be greatly appreciated. (they are really the only future players for the club) Good work KC!
-
He is a bit of a tough one - I don't really think he is designed to be a small forward but I also don't really think he is suited to be a mid. Looks to be another Blease (a burst mid who rests up forward?). He could possibly develop as an outside mid (hopefully) - we are really running out of spots in the back and forward.
-
Knowing Melbourne we will end up with Craig after some wait. Then we will slowly discover that Roos, Eade, Williams etc were never even contacted I would personally like a coach lined up following round 23 or even earlier. The coach should have time to analysis the list before coming on board and then maybe have time to start considering game plans. That way they already have some idea of the list and what they plan to do and of course they have a whole offseason. But I guess we don't live in a perfect world and there is almost no chance of that happening.

In a couple years? Why not next year? I just love the confidence of VIney - most people like Watts take a while to find it but this kid had it before he came out of the whom. Kent was also very impressive and I think may pass Blease soon (I just wonder what his defensive work is like - does lay a few tackles)
-
So does this mean by 26 Jack Trengove will be over his OP and wining world championships in the off season ?
-
I have always though that his disposal was a bit unreliable. He just has that awkwardness about him. He seems to back himself with the ball (doesn't rush himself) but I think he just lacks the poise that is needed to be a really good midfielder. I think he will always be serviceable as a mid but never great and I don't know if there are any spots in the backline anymore. Maybe he could swap positions with Clisby?
-
If Clisby gets more weeks than C. Brown then...

I didn't know Strauss broke his nose - he was doing rather well until that "incident" On the MFC website it says Reports: none? -
Viney: Is a God Jones: A demi God Watts: A super human Kent: Is a human Nicho: Is a parasite
-
Probably a bit harsh on Sylvia - had 23 touches, 1 goal, 7 marks and 2 tackles (thats quite a bit of involvement - topped the dreamteam points) A bit harsh on Strauss as well I think - he was having a good game untill he got a boot in the face Trengove: needs to lift (I can't remember any of his 21 touches?)
-
I think Viney and Jones are leaders because they lead by example but I see them as so focused on their own game that they don't really have that poise and time to tell others what to do. Also those big bodied guys like Dawes and Clark are always looked up to by the rest of the team (from my experience)
-
He was really the only one with a presence on the ground - telling players what to do. He was that big body and the player that everyone wants to get the ball to because he always makes the right decisions.
-
I think he would get a bit bored in our forward line. You will probably find him rapping down in the goal square with his shorts down to his knees
-
Never thought I would say this but today Watts was really our on-field leader.
-
I think if we had Watts up forward in the last quarter we could have won. We really needed someone who could take a contested mark (note I am talking about Watts & contested marks) and have the poise to go back and kick it. We really needed to take some risks but we didn't.
-
He won't have one for long if he keeps using it as a ramming device!
-
To be fair he is really a Backman and not a forward
-
Having Viney and jones getting the ball out helps a lot
