    Yep their goes our chances of an experienced coach.... Unless anyone thinks Ross is the go? Roos probably signed with Brissy last year I know we have to get our house in order but why does it always feel like the mfc are sitting around twiddling their thumbs?

    I think that if they are guilty that only a small few at the club would have known/been involved (the top order - Hird, Bomber etc) Say we pinch their midfield coach - I doubt he will bring across a drug program and even if he tried to I don't think any clubs/players will risk it now knowing what Essendon are going through. So yes I would look at some of their staff and possibly players.

    That would actually be a great deal for us because we don't need Boyd anyway. I would just be stoked with trading pick 1 to 2 (without the extra pick - that's optimistic)

    It all depends on how willing he is to come to us or leave GWS. If he is half hearted we may have to pay overs but if he is willing to walk away from GWS if they don't trade him then we may be able to snare a good trade. If we field the best offer to him with loads of cash he may say - trade me to Melbourne or I will go through the draft. If he is willing to be traded to several Victorian clubs then forget about Jamar and pick 20!

    His last 2 games have been pretty good (for a tagger?) Collingwood: 20 (DT 83) West Coast: 22 (DT 92)

    I wish Clisby dislocated Browns shoulder then I would have happily accepted 3 weeks just for the satisfaction of watching him hobble off the ground

    Yes it must have been all that mentoring Jamar has been giving! I like Spencer but I think he could take some more contested marks around the ground and also focus on his tap work (so like Gawn) He could also look at getting a different hair-do (so he doesn't look like napoleon dynamite)

    Now we don't know if Essendon will be charged and if they are how serious it will be. Assuming that they are charged - is there anyone from the club that we can scavenge. Surely if the club is charged some at the club will want out. Is this a possibility or have all at Essendon been tarnished? Judging by what the media has been saying this drug crisis revolved around the top - Hird, Bomber etc. Surely if they are deemed guilty then there will be some innocent staff that feel their reputation would be stained by staying at Essendon. So is there anyone at Essendon that we could snare staff or player? Bomber Thompson would make a great assistant coach but his reputation seems to be stained (whether found guilty or not) A midfield coach would be nice!

    Shattered with the Clisby result - so typical (that had to be his best game) I watched the MRP this week and was a bit suprised at how weak our game is becoming - the Clisby incident was not mentioned I thought that Dustin Fletcher getting 3 weeks was a joke - the guys like 3 meters tall and was running at full pace. If I was in charge of the rules and the opposition player was not injured I would maybe give a few points or 1 week max. Campbell Brown can go dig a hole and die (there is accidental then deliberate and I think that's when the MRP should come in)

    He looks like an in and under type - am I right? Viney, Jones, Adams and McKenzie (is that enough in and under players going forward?) Is Mckenzie part of our future? he will at least be safe for another year.

    I think you guys interpreted the question wrong - I think he was saying why would he choose Melbourne not why should we get a mid. (correct me if I am wrong) The answer: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I believe we still have some room in the salary cap - we could front load his contract (like Clark). - (give him an early birthday present) Also it would be threatening being a mid on the GWS list (so much talent) get it done Melbourne - chances like this are once in a blue moon - I would happily give them a pick 10 and give him Davey's salary.

    Thanks KC without you I would never have had any interest in the Casey Scorpions. Its always a breath of fresh air after watching an MFC game.

    Looks like they are trying their best to get out of the finals - maybe they know they wont have a coach then...

    We need mids so we should be developing mids Taggert is a prime example (but maybe they are managing his work load for he hasn't had a preseason yet)
