Casey report is on the MFC site. Reading between the lines (and reading the actual lines with words):

Kent seems a lock to come in

    Maynard a chance

    Trenners a chance

JKH/Kennedy less likely than we thought

Would like to see with great interest what Maynard can bring to the team. There's no better time for him to debut.

I have only seen him play live once earlier in the year against Williamstown and his physicality was impressive. Can certainly gather the ball from Casey reports, it might just work against a hardened Carlton midfield.

  2. Fantastic post!!

Definitely lifts the mood around the place after reading nothing but negativity all week in regards to injuries, suspensions and king hits.

Watts is an intelligent and well spoken young man and won't have to worry about life after football but yet he conducts himself with absolute class and dignity on the field.

His work ethic cannot be questioned and we all hope to see him back soon doing what he does best.

sorry to say  but we are GONE   i will still tip us this weekend   as usual , but really we are gone  , no finals this year   , need a miracle    and we all know about miracles dont we , , [censored] off

Should i put my membership in the microwave or pre heat the oven?

These are no longer the dark days, although the footy gods are trying their mightiest to send us back there.

    Belief rather than hope!!

Anyone who follows Watts on instagram find it strange that he appears to be posting videos from Queensland or Bali (hard to tell) where he appears to be doing work on his boardshorts label. .has he taken some leave while injured

I doubt it, he was at MSAC until 6pm last night for the kids clinic.

Much less pressure on Jesse to ease back into the limelight especially as Misson highlighted that it is up to Jesse and his 'mindset'.

While I would love to see Jesse at the G on Sunday, it will be fantastic to see him anywhere having a kick after all he has been through.  Go Jesse!

Well said, it would be a sight for sore eyes to see him anywhere really.

No doubt he's physically ready to play but it's a tough predicament the club faces with his selection.

The mental issue is the main one from all reports but geez we need Jesse more than ever.

*a hit to the back of the head (the less vulnerable area........) of an MFC player will however earn a 5 week reduction on a 7 week offence.

Indeed, that act was out of character supposedly. That's all we heard for a week from Richmond and the media.

Did I hear on the news that Goodwin also apologised to Longmire?

I think this is the incident that redefines this kind of stuff in the AFL. I know he's got to cop whats come but I do feel bad for him. Hopefully the boys get around him and hold him strong. He did the wrong thing but he's part of our club. The great MFC.  Enough with the bashing now.

Lewis on 360 also stated that our leaders rang Mills and Kennedy.

    Hogan to return via VFL.

Weed highly likely to be picked.

Sauce - Mitch Cleary, 3AW sports today.

    Is Mitch usually reliable?

I guess we have nothing to worry about this week if Jesse will line up for Casey.

I just wish the club would come out and be transparent with Watt's injury. If he's going to miss 3 more weeks, then tell us he's going to miss 3 more weeks. Rule him out early if he's no chance to play this week.

I'm currently at the holiday clinic at MSAC with most of the team here, might just get one of the kids to ask Watts.

Just the 9 touches on Friday and I just feel like Harmes has offered more this year. Wagners 20 disposals keeps him in.

I see where you're coming from, I don't think we have the luxury to drop players on the back of one bad game considering our circumstances.

My best guess is that Watts is out. In that case

    In: Hogan, Garlett, Kent, Kennedy

    Out: Viney, Bugg, White, Stretch

If Watts gets up, Pedo gets dropped. T.Mac has been our most dangerous forward for a few weeks now

Surely not Stretch, we need more run than ever before.

this weekend there will be only 5 players that have played all 15 games this years.

and we could see the 35th player on the list get a run if maynard/JT/Johnstone or Ben Ken play

    give us a farrrkking break

Yep, with a third of the season still remaining. Is this us drinking our own bath water?

Could the club not update the members and supporters by confirming Watts strained his hammy last week and will be out for a further 3-4 weeks. It certainly sounds like it's the case. A bit of transparency would be appreciated.

    Same deal with Garlett.

    Yeah, quite odd.

Watts had a fitness test the week leading into the West Coast and couldn't even complete half of it, then was hardly sighted last week at all prior to Sydney game, yet Goodwin states he's a chance this week.

Just driving past training and stopped in.

Jack Watts doing rehab running over about 40-50m at about 1/3 pace.

I'd say he's quite a few weeks from playing.:(

It just gets better and better, thanks for the update albeit not one we wanted to hear. Did you notice anything else?
