What’s so hard to understand about this week’s extended squad?

An elite kick on both feet and a fantastic team player. Losing Petty and then Jake at the end of 2023 hurt us big time.

I’m certain I heard them say on the telecast of the draft the Suns requested that Lewis not play against the Bullants last weekend. Is that a thing?

Several posters praised Petty’s game on the weekend including the fellas on the podcast. He’s been good in the forward line. His body work on McCartin last weekend was first class, he kept McCartin out of a few contests than enabled Fritta and others to take a couple of marks and score.

We’d probably start with Sharp in Spargo’s position if Jack doesn’t come up. The sub might be the player that gets the call up.

Don’t look at Petty’s low disposal count as a negative, he worked Sydney’s best interceptor in McCartin over all day, a selfless game. Enjoy a marvelous win all.

Anyone see the Pearce hit on Darcy Byrne-Jones? Will be very interesting to see the ruling on this one.

I don’t think it is managed at all. He didn’t play at Casey because I believe T Mac will be first in today if there’s a late change. You don’t ‘manage’ a player and list him as emergency when you pretty much have a full squad to choose from. That’s the way I see it.

I’m guessing that guy is just running with the rumours at the time.

The Carlton forums are fun right now. This gave me a chuckle. We had a chance to trade McKay for Petracca, exactly the kind of player we need right now. Instead we pick Mr "In no rush for a premiership" who plays 1 good game out of every 4.

As good as Melksham's little dinky kick over the top to Langdon was in the last, that goal doesn't come if it wasn't for Spargo. Didn't register a touch in the leadup to the goal, but he read Payne's kick beautifully and caused an intercept.

Giants have some serious outs. This is a big game for them.
