I agree, the Primus logo for the last two years was good because it didn't take over the jumper too much. I'm sure that it was simply a case of just getting a logo on the jumper so that they could go get them made as quick as they could.

Let me clarify, he performed above expectations in his first year. I wouldn't be surprised if he was delisted.

I don't think that Bartram's form has dropped off from 2006, I think it's about the same. The difference is, he is no longer a first year player, taken late in the draft who played every game in his first season. He is now a fourth year player who performed above expectations.

I see Bruce as the ideal flanker, hard to match up on because of his height and stamina. I just don't see him as a midfielder and as younger players come through hopefully he can cement a spot on a flank.

I'm not at all surprised by the delistings, but it's still disappointing. I wish both players the best of luck and I hope they both get another chance at other AFL clubs because they both deserve it.

People need to realise that you don't need a five year plan that revolves around draft picks to win a Premiership. They also need to realise that once a player turns 28 he is no longer completely useless. EDIT: I remember reading somewhere (not sure where) that the AFL seems to be the only competition in the world where winning a Premiership in five years time is more important than winning one now.

It's terrible, their old logo wasn't great but this is far worse.

It's just a shame that Miller is given a contract extension while a player like Buckley is likely to get delisted. Yes, they play different positions but I would prefer Buckley at CHF rather than Miller.

I didn't want this to turn into a McLean bashing thread, it's about the issue of where Casey Fields is located. I don't see a problem with it and I think it's a great place and a great move by the club (for many reasons stated before), but it's the first time the issue has been brought up publicly and one that may come up again.

I'm a massive fan of Casey Fields (as I have mentioned many times), but the point of this all is that will it impact on current players as well as those looking to play for Melbourne?

The Reebok jumpers are rubbish, baggy loose things with no shape that for one look amateur and would be far easier to tackle and hold on to. The Adidas jumpers are a bit odd around the neck, but as far as how they fit they are much better and no doubt would give players a bit of an advantage, even if it is just 1%. EDIT: Great news about the jumper colours too by the way.
