Again, can we please have a sticky thread with all MFC related YouTube videos that can act as a catalogue and also reduce the number of repeated threads. -
I've noticed a few teams have bigger logos on their jumpers, including . It might be that the AFL increased the size limit for sponsor logos, I hope not.

It's too big, with too much wasted white space. Whilst the colours look better (hard to say with these photos) I still wish that the red yolk was a bit bigger with a sharper V.

I'm not sure if it is just the lighting, but the jumpers in these photos look darker and look to fit the players better. Melbourne Player Portraits

Would it be possible to have a sticky thread that has links to all MFC related YouTube videos? Saves a new thread being created every few weeks and would provide a good catalogue of MFC videos.

Dean Bailey to get contract extension

In terms of player development you have to give him an A, but for a game plan or tactics seen so far, a C-. -
Dean Bailey to get contract extension
Straight Sets Simon replied to dees189227's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yes, Melbourne were "rebuilding" and there was some "list management" over the past two years, but it doesn't mean we can't assess Bailey's coaching performance so far. Any judgment on his performance wouldn't solely come down to the start of next season, poor list or not what he has been able to do with the list he had should be judged. -
MFC training today at the Junction Oval

It's certainly no Casey Fields. -
MFC training today at the Junction Oval

That is a key point, and I noticed that at Casey last week there seemed to be more match simulation than at the same time last year (it looked that way, I could be wrong). -
Cranbourne East to reappear on the Rail Map
Straight Sets Simon replied to beelzebub's topic in Melbourne Demons
I agree. Not only would it be a major step in embracing the Casey community, it could also provide a large financial windfall for the MFC, in particular for low-crowd games (Fremantle, Port Adelaide and alike). I would much rather Melbourne play a few games in Casey as opposed to Darwin or Canberra, not only for the logistical factors but also because Casey now means something to the Melbourne Football Club. -
Bailey.

They were never going to continue it.

No, it was always just a one-year deal. Carlton jumps at Malaysia sponsorship

My point is that if what reported is true, Mars would be after a major sponsorship and all that Melbourne would be able to offer would be a secondary one (not on the jumper or shorts). I would be surprised if Mars bothered with a secondary sponsorship.

Melbourne already have two major sponsors.

Yes, but the long-term benefit of reaching potential new supporters/members in this area should not be understated.

I've just got back from Casey Fields, a great day and I was impressed with the crowd considering it was just a training session. I'd be interested to know how many people would attend training at previous locations. You can never take too much away from a training session because most players tend to look pretty good, but just a few notes: - Trengove looks like a five year veteran. He moves well, is strong, smart and has very good skills. I'm not sure which is his dominant foot because he is so strong on both sides. Barring injury I see him playing Round 1 without any hesitation and I put my money on him for the Rising Star (which isn't a surprise). - Compared to last Summer there looked to be much more game simulation training which is not only more entertaining but it brings out the best and worst of the players skills and decision making as there is pressure on the ball carrier. I was impressed with Jones' kicking under pressure as well as Miller's marking. - As mentioned Scully didn't train as much and his kicking was pretty good. Physically he is quite a bit smaller than Trengove but his explosive pace was evident. - Tapscott is big, very big even compared to most older players and the penetration in his kicking is sublime. - Grimes looked really quick, much quicker than I remembered, his kicking is good it's just that he has an awkward looking action. - Casey Fields looked magnificent, the ground is as good as any and the renovations to the main building looked to be coming on very well. The benefit of this facility was highlighted with players able to go a few hundred metres down the road to swim at the new RACE swimming complex as well as making use of the Criterium Cycling Track within Casey Fields.

It's not a shame at all. Like The Whitlams once sang...

I just saw the second half, Macdonald was injured and didn't feature too often.

Trying to support our sponsor Kaspersky... BUT ....

I notice that Kaspersky have internet protection for Mac's now. I'm not sure if it is needed but it is something that I will look into. -

I think the page has changed as that page is for the free six month trials that were handed out recently. I'm guessing you are after the 20% member discount, if so that's a different page but I'm not sure how to get to that. -
I always liked the 2006 jumper. The neck design was good, the colours were darker, the yolk looked sharper and the jumper seemed to fit the players better (not as loose and baggy). On top of the that, the Primus logo was good in that it didn't take up too much space, yet it stood out enough to provide value to the sponsors.

Like the similar thread of Demonology this thread should be locked. It is a complete invasion of privacy IMO. EDIT: On top of that you have nobs who come and and try and say what is and isn't a good score. How sad can you get?
