Remember when Tim Taranto was going to be the next big thing?

He was never as good as most made him out to be.

I’m amazed no one in the media has ever pointed out that an umpire is far more likely to pay holding the ball if the ball becomes dislodged from the tackled players’ hands. It makes no sense but a common trend amongst all umpires.

100% agree and move North to Tasmania while we are at it.

Do the umpires love us? Loaded question on here I know, but genuinely surprised if teams think we get a good run from the umpires (I don’t think we get a bad run by the way).

I still think the best teams are Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Carlton and Geelong. Not convinced about St Kilda and Fremantle just yet.

Ben Brown is a top 10 most important player, he comes straight back in.

Clearances evened up a lot in the end, GWS were still better but once we got first hands on the ball consistently we took over.

The biggest promeblem McDonald has isn’t Ben Brown, it’s the fact he’s no longer a dead eye from set shots.
