Satyriconhome replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
His other one AFL game, that's what he is building his game on, if you think Viney attacks the bal with ferocity, we are talking a 90kg midfielder with basketball agility, could be anything -

Just a note on Maynard, Goodwin stated it is everything, training included, that is taken into consideration Thursday, last training before 1st gane, let's ease thru it and not get hurt Not Maynard, he attacked the whole session, including one contested possession followed by a flat out 70 metre sprint into the 50 to be on the end of the chain he started -
Yes but what happens if we win comfortably but Dom Tyson misses a target or Omac a spoil?

This is one of the agility drills, but typical of Weid, he's the one lying down

Pressure, as you call it, is certainly not coming from within the Club, it's supporters, media etc Weid, to quote Goody, has had no summer, so will be given time

Conservative, I asked today, it is slow and steady with both, Club in no win situation, rush them back and exacerbate the problem etc etc -

Detailed report on Viney he wasn't at training Oliver 'should' be ok -
Comedy Festival starting, I do know with Viney, like some others, but keep to myself, unlike some others, but Club has put out an update so everbody knows now The plan was always Rd 1, why wouldn't it be, didn't work out that way Nice to see the flat track bullies coming out of hiding to join in with your 'humour'

Sorry pedant, the original discussed success and tv exposure equals bettet sponsorship Collingwood get the exposure and better sponsorship without recent success due to Eddie, point I was making
-
No Eddie is the Collingwood reason, master marketer, why they have been loathe to ditch him, despite the gaffes in last couple of years
-
Success = better sponsorship I'm shocked, who would have thought?

Correct, although some players are actually banned from having a say in what is played, something to do with appalling taste in music -

Leigh Matthews is the greatest coach in Australian sport followed by Al Clarkson, as I said my opinion, Bellamy has had nothing to coach against and coaches a negative game -

I used to watch him when he played for the Raiders SWYL, we talk about AFL changing, Rugby League is unrecognizable from 20 years ago, there are no ball players anymore Bellamy coaches his players to lay all over the opposition in defence and push the envelope with the referees, they frustrate and tire the opposition then strike Yes it is successful, but boring to watch, they are one reason I stopped watching the game As for Caro"s article, spoken to players and coaches and administrators about this, nothing to see here, already old news -

Sorry SWYL but there is not much competition, Rugby League in the country is dying on its feet The teams are now made up of one or two Aussies, then KIwis, Islanders, Englishmen, Union converts, reformed bad boys etc Mental toughness comes with maturity
