  1. There are fights because another 'tough guy' can't or won't ignore the taunts, obviously nobody took the bait
  2. That's right he slams players heads into the turf, trips them up, kicks their feet etc etc, If we got a group of 10 certain posters on here in a room, the footy IQ level may just reach double figures
  3. All the tough guys behind their keyboards And the point of a melee? Goodwin does not want undisciplined acts on the field Oscar Mc moved Vardy away, Vardy has been pilloried in media and social media, much more impact
  4. The club sees a 'serious ' injury to a young player as an opportunity rather than a serback They give them teaching/learning opportunities as well as building them physically, Baker this year physically bears no resemblance to last year, he also has a greater understanding of the game, chatted to him about it They are doing the same with Aaron Neitschke, already put on a couple of k of muscle whilst off legs, has Nev Jetta to keep him company at the moment, which can only be a good thing
  5. I got absolutely nothing, so didn't push it Crossy pushes the rehab guys hard, at the end of the session, May got to do repeat 100's with Crossy and Bernie Vince (who is still in great nick) pacing him, and increasing speed each time, did about 7 or 8
  6. Joel has the dreaded OP, train, see if pain returns, if not, ramp up training, etc etc spoke to him yesterday, he was ok JKH and Hannan expect a run in VFL next week
  7. Probably Lever was flying for marks, tackling, twisting and turning, as I said bouncing around whole session with a big smile The vibe is always up Goodwin not a believer in wallowing They practice the connection constantly, it will get there
  8. They trained ball movement, tackling, spiking, running, handballing and kicking drills Jake Lever bouncing around, ready to go Steven May did 2hrs of work with Croosy
  9. What you mean they don't put the beer down and dribble [censored] all over their keyboards Awful game, both sides trying not to lose, but we got the 4 points Coaches will review and make changes if necessary
  10. Wrong, unfortunately Newman allowed himself to be turned into a caricature, he was well paid to do it If you got to speak to him away from the limelight, you would have found he knew a lot more about footy than some of the other experts we have now, I did
  11. I was at a function on Sunday and Joel Smith announced publicly he had the dreaded OP, so as a consequence the Club ate being uktra conservative with his rehab I can understand posters frustrations with Misson, nothing worse than watching him walking around training hitting wit real vigour body parts of players with the leather cosh he hides in his tracksuit It is a contact sport, without the prtection of padding like others, injuries happen Unfortunately articles like this opens the door for haters on this site to spew forth from their keyboards
  12. May was running laps and doing ball work and skills last Wednesday and Friday May did not turn up for pre season in disgraceful shape, he turned up in Gold Coast condition, he was put right and then worked his [censored] off to get right, unfortunately his body didn't like it He made a stupid decision, unlike some on here who never have in their life, he has learnt the hard way, him and the club will move on Blanket rule don't drink and don't get caught, same as having a sly smoke on your way to training, you learn and move on
  13. Smith trained well on Wednesday, obviously flared up overnight, maybe thought massage etc would work, obviously not
  14. He was making a valiant attempt to keep the lid on at training @Drunkn167 ???? I only knew at 10.30 this morning jealous???
  15. 3/4, maybe another week or two and then half a VFL game, same with JKH
