You could always go to work, that's where I am, up at 6am, didn't feel too bad, still up and about from yesterday
-
Agree, I am normally emotionally detached when watching games just watch the footy but now nursing bruised right hand from smashing it into chair in front of me after one umpiring decision

Weideman to make AFL debut against Hawks

To put all this into perspective, I told Weed that everybody thought he was too skinny at the moment, he found it hilarious, early 90kgs and your'e skinny, I am sure if he gets a run up and gets his knee into the back of Gibson's head it will be Gibson who falls over -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 20

"They have it under control" was his phrase, so not sure, I know he saw a couple of specialists and tried other medication -
He has still to complete an injury free pre season
-
We have one in Max King if he could just get his [censored] together, not sure whether he will survive this year though

Yes I know being in early 90kg's, a strong wind will blow him over -

I spoke to him at training, he is fine now, 'they' have it under control, he has put back the weight he lost (5kgs) during the latest bout -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 20

Those players at Casey are looking forward to Saturday night and another chance for a win and secure decent finals placing and then a charge at the flag, I know because I spoke to some of them at training, if their good performances are rewarded with a spot in the AFL side good, but if not "we are having fun down there" -

Typing too fast, forgot about the marks, thank you......I personally hope one of the Hawks does try to push him around..... -

True, he needs to kick 4 or 5, tackle, chase, pressure and look exceedingly cool in the post match interview otherwise........ -

Weideman to make AFL debut against Hawks
Satyriconhome replied to AzzKikA's topic in Melbourne Demons
Now I am just warming up for the Match Day thread, I am pleased he is making his debut, wished him luck today at training if he got in, just another young player that could be sacrificed on the altar of Demonland vitriol -

And the outrage on here if he doesn't manage it -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 20

Our mostly stagnant ball movement in the last two games does Garlett no favours whatsoever, he creates space which is then blocked up when we have slow entries into the 50, he is at his best when we get it to him out in the open or crumbing off decent entries into the tall forwards -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 20
Satyriconhome replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
If we have stagnant ball movement, Garlett may as well sit on the bench for the whole game, the forwards need the ball coming in quickly -
No he just said discussions are ongoing, he is happy at MFC, don't forget there is another side to this, the club, the deal has to be right for both sides, just looking forward to playing Hawthorn, not concerned about all the talk, same with Jesse Hogan.....the managers do most of the talking these days

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 20

Bugger, those three, Dawes Wagner and Jones stayed and did a bit more work with the 'Casey' guys at the end of training, thought it was just a bit more work, I could have made a big prediction on here like I did with Garland once before -
I am sure we have enquired lots of players as well Hibberd we know of, Hurley probably and Prestia etc, clubs do it all the time, it doesn't necessarily equate that the player moves

AVO I am never violent towards them....maybe a restraining order , although the thought of that interests me -
I'll say it again, I chat to them and they know to trust me to judge what to put on here, also if they ask me not to repeat something I don't, so what you get here is what I consider to be what myself and the players are comfortable with..........I agree with injury you may as well ask one of the trees at Goschs, I asked Hoges today and I got 'yes it's fine', told him I wouldn't believe what he told me anyway and he just laughed

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 20

Viv has to be one of the quietest blokes in the group, you never notice him at training, just goes about doing the drills in a professional way, he never looks down, think he just enjoys, and feels privileged at, being on an AFL list and gives it everything he's got at whatever level he is playing -
Yes, I asked him how the contract discussions were going, said before if you ask the right way the players will talk to you, similarly to Chip Frawley don't think he has made any decision whatsoever at the moment, as Roos has stated 'discussions are ongoing', you have to get it right on both sides. I personally think he is like Watts he has survived the horror and wants the chance to go forward with the club
-
Oh yes, as you know I talk to the players, but not prepared to divulge who, not a present player though
-
It will be like any other player out of contract, he is offered more money, he thinks another club has a better shot at a premiership, he likes the coaching setup at another club better or has links with the coaches etc etc I always find these player movements amusing where the supporters get angry, blokes the players ages change jobs all the time, for better pay, more opportunity etc, the only one that has stuck in my craw lately was Scully because he lied, Chip Frawley had not made his made up to actually go until after seasons end If the boot was on the other foot, and Tommy Mc was delisted we would have posters on here probably celebrating if they thought he was not AFL standard Tommy Mc is actually happy at MFC so it is nothing to do with 'discontent'
