The Jesse Hogan Panic Room - all contract talk here
Satyriconhome replied to Grapeviney's topic in Melbourne Demons
I could talk about potential player movement, this board is full of potential player movement, we all have conversations, whether the potential move happens, that is the point I am making, Jesse has the potential to move to Freo, whether he does, nobody knows, there can be a million conversations about a potential move As for injury I have discussed Lumumba's concussion on this board today, because it is a known fact and I had a good chat to him about it, but if you ask about a player during the season, you get the straight bat Interesting you had to throw that bit in to make sure that we know you have a friend who is a present player, and I am only 'tolerated', making what you type much more believable I assume -
The Jesse Hogan Panic Room - all contract talk here
Satyriconhome replied to Grapeviney's topic in Melbourne Demons
A guess that was correct, please, I could do that and big note myself as well, but I share very little of the inside information I have because I believe I shouldn't, every one of us can do that and have a guess, and you have a 50/50 chance of being right. it usually leaks out just before it is announced officially, as it becomes common knowledge inside the club as the media story is prepared, if it leaks at all. I have spoken to both players and officials at the club asking about this very thing, and was told what I have written above is more the norm, it is not taken very well if they find somebody leaking stories, particularly about injury or contract issues. -
Think that is why they have been so successful lately, using their academy at Box Hill to develop players properly, there is never any rush with them, O'Rourke is one for the future methinks
-
I wasn't lecturing you precious, I asked you a question, it is all a mute point now anyway with Hawthorn being the club of choice, footy not my area mmmm strange or an attempt at humour?

I get information from the club, apart from the players from time to time myself, but I don't put it on here, so I do know it happens but again for anybody that is not listening and I will put it in bold UNLESS IT IS OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED, NO PLAYER OR OFFICIAL WILL DIVULGE CORRECT INFORMATION ON EITHER INJURY OR CONTRACT So at this moment unless you are (a) Jesse Hogan, a member of his immediate family or his manager and you have not divulged to the club you are not staying or (b) the List Manager and Senior Coach at Melbourne Football Club if you have divulged you are not staying, and in both cases you are willing to identify yourself as such on here,. it is all conjecture/rumour/media hype/[censored] -
Realistic Trade Week Results (Wish List)
Satyriconhome replied to GawnWithTheWind's topic in Melbourne Demons
He was in jumper without a number, think they rejig anyway for a new season, once the list is sorted -
No you are correct, that wasn't me chap, I was actually horrified when I first met Gysberts, I was in my late 50's by then and had bigger biceps, gone to seed with semi retirement now sadly

Realistic Trade Week Results (Wish List)

My realistic hope......Todd Viney's team to do the same fantastic job they have been doing for the last couple of years and bring in some players -
Come on we have turned the corner now, he says avoiding ladders, mirrors and clutching his rabbit foot and four leaf clover, we had 40 odd ready to go last weekend of the season
-
I wonder what tipple O'Meara is into, surname like that probably Jamesons
-
But not the one to Fremantle where he was seen at least twice before Hawthorn stepped in You mean the same allowance they used on Tippett and Franklin?, Frawley was a free agent, not trade
-
gee that is a big call rjay, seem to remember somebody saying the same thing about Geelong
-
Frawley was going to Fremantle until Hawthorn stepped in

The top five in the B and F, the Mac brothers, a team group photo, Mr Personality, and Jesse, oh no? it is a conspiracy....actually good marketing -

It will all depend on what type of Eagles fan you ask, similar to here -

What crap, all the crap is either on here or in the media, unless you are in the club now, nobody has any idea what is actually going on -
Everything about Garlett 'seemed' good, through contacts I had, was 'willing and ready' to give red hot crack, didn't work out, but they didn't lose much
-
I am actually surprised that Hawthorn are into him, the due diligence on his injury recovery must be positive, they are not a team to take risks with recruiting still wait and see though
-
I may as well put this , I had a good chat to H at training, there was a concern with his concussion, he was in the hands of neurologists etc, the decision was to stop everything, give him an extended break so to speak. The prognosis going forward is good, he was feeling a whole lot better with everything when I spoke to him Just wants to be ready day 1 pre season and take it from there
-
Why, how many times have you seen him play in the last 2 years? Being a top draft pick doesn't necessarily equate to being an instant star, we as a club should know that
-
Stuie, you are wasting your breath, the contempt some show for a player that has suffered a serious concussion episode borders on the sociopathic But we are on an internet forum so I shouldn't be that surprised The fact that some may gloat if Lumumba has to retire because of the condition saddens me It is the hard men of footy on this board, never ducked, never shirked when it was their turn to go, topped the tackle count every year, that's what makes them such good judges of who should go at the end of each season, apart from the drovers dog of course
-
Good to see that Isaac Smith had at least three different reasons for the smile, the Geeling player who he actually smiled at hasn't pushed him under the bus
-
He has had serious concussion issues, he was TOLD not to train or play, for you to post such rubbish shows little understanding of concussion, and little respect for a person suffering from it, the only reason Nev Jetta was able to return to footy after his concussion issues was the ENFORCED six week layoff he had, I know coz I asked

Class Viney and Tyson are still a year or two off their peak all the midfielders drooled over are mid to late twenties time and experience is all that is needed for our young mids
