Just on Racing.com they are playing some history of the CF Orr stakes. Manikato, Black Caviar (only time she ever ran over 1400) won by 6 lengths, Lohnro (sire of Kementari) and Vo Rogue. Some big names there. Black Caviars win was the best though.

Yep i hear ya Macca. 7 from 8! No wonder they call you Tom Macca! Yeah i know that feeling. Actually they do pay 7 from 8, but you have to put the bet on that way before you begin. Somehow it never pays much, im not sure how the math works on that one. I had a mate up here who is mad punting on the basketball. He used to put (still does) bets on American NBL games, as a lot of games are predicable, but dont pay a lot . But he would do like a 20 leg multi or whatever the maximum number is. I told him he was mad and hed never get that many legs and should trim it down a little. Well....he got it 3 times. Won over 15k on at least 1 of them. Nice going.

Yes i agree. When all goes to plan...its money for jam! ....(and damn good punting there) Problem is ...Devil fools with the best laid plans...(Neil Young) The first time i put a 3 horse multi on it paid 1100 for 20. Ive never managed to do it since! Im still in front tho. I seem to always mess up on the dreaded draw in soccer....2 from 2 so far. Gave myself a spell (let up) this week. Im due now.

Sure if you like. Doesnt have to be an official thing i guess, but sometimes you remember better next time. For instance look at Kementari. Hasnt won for a long time, so his odds will be ok, but that was a super run and there was a bit of a whisper around earlier in the week after a good trial. The jockey mentioned, " hes flying and ready to win and will only improve on that run. Get him back to Randwick as soon as possible." That just made me think, might be worth us wrapping up the day, if anyone feels like it, then we can go back and check what we wrote perhaps from a few weeks back. Yes theres hundreds of horses and we will never cover all of them, but a few notes here and there never go astray. Pretty much just like you wrote about Manuel. I never noticed the times and will therefore be extra weary when he runs next. The others however now look pretty good on that information. Your stats are top stuff Macca. Only if people are in the mood and feel like it of course......mostly i wanna forget about it as soon as the last race is over, like yesterday! Felt bad i let the team down with my pick. But even in hindsight, there wasnt much else i liked. Nature Strip was the obvious choice, but those odds are just prohibitive. Well done on everyones picks.

12 of those 15 horses in the CF Orr have nominated for the All Star. I have a suggestion. We have talked about black book etc. Maybe at the end of the day we can put a few in a box and note the top runs from the day, whos ready to win etc. After hearing the jockeys interviewed on Racing.com after that race there were comments like get him back to Randwick as soon as possible, ready to win his next race etc etc. Thoughts?

Land of Plenty and Kementari ran very well i thought Macca. Would have won any other race. Trifecta only paid 350.....thought would be more with a 21/1 winner EDIT: Dead heat for second so 2 tris

Yeah its a tough race and stayed away from it for my bb for that reason. Brave Smash can run a race to when he wants to.

Some of those odds came in a bit. I managed to get 22 boosted. I know you can put a quinella in a parlay on the TAB. Thats the only time ive seen it. Cant d that with ladbrokes anyway, im assuming ditto with the other corporates.
