  1. Dave, let it go. The info coming back to me from sources in the industry support what @drysdale demon and @dazzledavey36 are getting at - it's highly unlikely and probably very unwise for Paddy McCartin to attempt a comeback.
  2. The way I see it the more things change the more they stay the same. You need 2 KPFs as a marking threat to draw opposition defenders: it makes space for the medium and small forwards to operate in more effectively. they may even mark it!
  3. Previously he was very quick, hasn't looked quick this year. However, watching the game on TV does makes it harder to pick up on the speed and extent of players' running patterns.
  4. Destination club ✅ - being 'irrelevant' means we can offer a certain degree of anonymity.
  5. No Breakfast Gin???
  6. Cognitive inflexibility in gamblers is primarily present in reward-related decision making.
  7. That's reminded me of an old joke...is your real-life name Luigi?
  8. Given the amount of confusing information surrounding COVID 19, does anyone know if the tests accurate enough within a 3-4 day time frame?
  9. Looks like it's going to be wet-weather (if it gets cold too we could be playing the druggies on ice) and they have a smallish fast forward line so: Lockhart for Smith Vandenberg for Jones (VDB fast enough to stop their run off half-back). Pickett, for ANB (harsh) Jackson for Weed (stronger body)
  10. Agree that he's often guilty of it. During the game he was regularly matched up on a much larger key forward. Not great a way to coach i out of him.
  11. Yes, guilty. However being matched up on a key position forward would draw you into the aerial contest.
  12. Hmm, not sure about that. Most of the weather patterns roll in from the left.
  13. Pruess
  14. If the rumours of him having a bung-knee are true then surely he's going to Hawthorn?
  15. "Young man, there's no need to feel down"
  16. I thought there was a question over his fitness for Round 1?
  17. Maybe it was "the night of the long knives"?
  18. No grounds...never stopped the AFL before.
  19. I wonder if the R1 results will still stand?
  20. Yes, there does seem to be a disconnect between the reintroduction of the Under 19's competition and its likely impact on economic and political stability in the greater asian region.
  21. Wow, that ReDraft fell off a cliff after pick 11.
  22. Sean Wight. However, two of my all-time favourites; Whelan was superb.
  23. Yes, it is Jeremy Nicholls and he was on the Board of the MFC.
  24. Yes. Jeremy also served on the board of the club for awhile.
  25. Sad news. One of my father's great mates. This comes as a blow.
