All these guys are slight and regardless of martins 2 preseasons he's still scrawny. I think what is more important than brawn in 1st and 2nd year players is an appetite for the contest. The players above all go hard at the ball and don't shirk a contest. That's what I'd be looking at from Billy. Another thing is I'm hoping Stretch isn't required to play before 2016 and that if he debuts its because he is murdering the VFL.

Grimes needs to sit down with Nick Maxwell and pick his brain on how to get the most out of your footy with average skills. Maxwell was ripped on by everyone but he was key to collingwoods defensive rebound.

Stop carping on about Stretch needing 3 pre seasons and he's too skinny.. I flicked over to suns v saints game and there's quite a few skinny kids really cracking in... Jack Martin, Billings, Lemmens... None of them would be much bigger if at all than Billy.

He is one of the fittest blokes in the comp. He is fanatical about his fitness and given that a deal similar to Cross wouldn't be a bad idea.

Check the stats for both on footywire... There's nothing between them so what's the point in swapping them?

Roosy seems like a blood loyal guy and I think he's been so embraced by our club he will do what he can in any capacity to lift us out of the basement. I also gey the feeling that after he was kind of "shafted" by Sydney and their academy program his loyalty to them ended abruptly.

Re watched the game... I cannot believe how many times we kicked to a 1 vs 2/3/4 port players. Really poor options that cost us going forward when we had them on the ropes. On the upside you can really see the Improvement and the pressure we put them under was fantastic all bar 20 mins.
