In the old days it was black and white shorts (and those were the days when a mud patch in the centre and in front of goals ensured both teams had black shorts at the end)! These days there is no such problem (plus we have red socks as well)!

We should put more resources into the Casey Demons and our women’s team if anything. I can’t believe that we let Casey’s B&F winner go to Port Adelaide without structuring something like we did with Garland. It seems that we conferred on them the Demon brand without working with them to make it successful! ?

Jack Trengove was a Mel"born"e footballer and captain of our club through his endeavours, tried and true, red and blue. At this stage Jack is now only an interstate export (when he could have led the Casey Demons to a Premiership in 2018)!

As far as I’m concerned, I just want to see them finish above Essendon (& well outside the eight)!

Maybe Lever could get 4, Harmes upgraded to 27 and Balic get 43? Not sure why they can’t feature a headshot of Lever and Balic in MFC guernseys? ?

Wrapt for Jack if it works. Gun player if only he had regained his speed. Sorry in a way that the MFC didn’t find a role for him (such as leading the Casey Demons to a Premiership) however having Watts as a teammate should make him pretty happy!?

I didn’t know that we had Jay Viney on board as well as Todd. That is indeed good news!?

I see no reason why the MFC can’t facilitate Jack having a major leadership role at Casey, maybe involving a coaching component. Presuming, if he was AFL ineligible, he could retain the same overall salary package (but outside of the cap) and he would certainly be worth the investment both in a AFL/VFL mentoring role and as a VFL player. I am sure that Casey would appreciate entering their 2018 campaign with their 2017 B&F player on their list.

Perhaps you should visit the Club website? It has Garland, Watts and Spencer listed as players (but not Lever or Balic)!? Best to stick to Demonland if you want information however!

There is a history to the name LDC: it was the name of a coterie group established by fanatical Demon supporters who belonged to the four gentlemen’s clubs situated in the Melbourne CBD. We had regular lunches featuring past players, coaches, administrators as lunchtime speakers. A lot of fun whilst it lasted.?

The list of players on the MFC website still has Watts, Kennedy, Spencer, Garland, White, Hulett on our list and omits Lever and Balic. Even if Balic and Lever haven't numbers yet, they should appear! ? Maybe we need to employ more dolts??

Rather than comparing whoever we get with potentially pick 47, perhaps, as ignition alludes, we should be comparing the potential of what Clarke, Crameri or Lennon might add/strengthen our list more than the potential of Judy (Garland)? ?
