  1. why bother saying well done nathan in this forum? Nathan's not going to read it. if you're fond of nathan just scream it out Son!! as for me...you're a star nathan!!!!
  2. you just miss eddie don't you dee-luded? Bt's a character!! don't be such a bore!
  3. must agree. BT say's it how it is. he's ok. i usually listen to the first half on 774 then switch over to bt for the second half. the 7 team have surprised me or perhaps more so ch 7 for recruiting such an interesting bunch. i also particularly like the Rhonda ad.
  4. yes he would be great but doesn't fit the Melbourne goodie two shoes way. could you imagine him sitting in on one of Neeld's school boy lectures? don't think so.
  5. love to get cloke. also tippett. hayes is a little old now. Tipungwuti would be more than good any comment? Losing L Jurrah is a major blow. He'll be amazing for Pad if they get him.
  6. only joined today! is this content.... why you little, on 14 September 2012 - 04:15 PM, said: Welcome Dillon & Parke...you and i started supporting this beautiful rabble around the same time as the 2 afore jmentioned were early heroes of mine. 26 was the first number i had... Good Luck in here it is a ride.... parke and dillon used to switch chf and ff. both were stars. dillon played big V as far as I recall. they were the days of gallery, biffen, hardeman, sullivan, davis, alves.....great side but couldn't get close!
  7. not at all. like some posters said earlier. seems like a thick skin comes in handy in Demonland:)
  8. thats true bubs. i wasn't there. the players appeared to be a bunch of bored kids at a lecture theatre. lets hope they were more motivated than I was. interested to know how others feel? once a school teacher always a school teacher?
  9. hi bubsy, sorry to say, but he looked tired and listless and regardless of the context a leader needs to inspire the players first and then the supporters through success this rant is far from on the mark hopefully he can turn it around both on and off the field
  10. Neeld should watch Kennedy's DO rant or even a few Barassi/Ridley Rants...
  11. hi rr, not the best example. not inspirational. nearly went to sleep watching it.
  12. the only sauce on the menu tonight is sam jacobs playing for the crows hopefully for them he hasn't gone off
  13. just a kid back then. used to collect records after the match!! Parke was an incredible mark not dissimilar to Howe in that regard. agreed his kicking and leg speed were a little sus. why didn't they click? what did we lack back then and what do we lack right now..??
  14. parke and dillon used to switch chf and ff. both were stars. dillon played big V as far as I recall. they were the days of gallery, biffen, hardeman, sullivan, davis, alves.....great side but couldn't get close!
  15. intriguing:) to ignore posts is almost like a self censorship? the reason i'm here is to interact and to share diverse opinion not only respond to comments the respected perhaps over time this sentiment will change.
  16. hi Jordie! thankx matey, why are comments similar to the one below not questioned, blocked and seemingly tolerated? before i began to post i wanted to get a sense of the groups moods, what to say and not to say. Jurrah certainly seems a huge target and given all of the incidents involving him are alleged then how can demonlanders continue to post on the topic obvious to obvious slander of Liam?(please read post below) if I were Liam and happened to read this comment and many other anti liam threads then leaving the club would of be an easy decision to make. anti Neeld posts can get a little boring I agree but lets face it melbourne only won 3 games this year and the general game style doesn't look great. its going to happen but not soon:) to put it out there i'm a Neeld man but do question many of the things he does. i feel Neeldy will warm into the job but it's going to be a long process and won't happen before 2015. example of anti liam comment below "6. Liam Jurrah - its pretty clear that he may be in jail in 2013, but if not I get strong feelings and indications that few under Neeld are happy with his work ethic.comments such as this one above do"
  17. hi viney my point was more about the general etiquette of the site. agree totally about Neitz. lets hope clarke can fill his shoes? The "anti" neeld posts I have read don't seem "anti" , more questioning the direction of his game style and player management. take the time as i have to read all posts associated with Liam Jurrah, as it leaves a nasty taste to say the least.
  18. Hi people, I have read several posts and first thing that stands out is the diversity if opinion from who should be coach to the game style, current culture at the club, clearing out the current list, who to keep, who to trade. I have also noticed topics are randomly locked while others are not. For example an anti Liam Jurrah comment that wouldn't be tolerated in mainstream media is tolerated here but other comments involving mass player cullings or critique of the coach or the direction the coach is taking us are seemingly locked or not tolerated. Can we say it as we see it or must we go with the general flow or mood of our members? myself have followed the Dees since my namesake dominated Melbourne's forward line. a general lack of leadership/inspiration from top to bottom seems to be the crux of melbourne's current problem. what do we all think about this issue and am i somewhere near the mark of the general consensus?
