  1. I think Dunn was/is probably best 22 but the club is obviously keen to give O'mac game time, it's great we've been able to find him a new home where he can hopefully play regular senior footy win-win for both sides, apart from Dunn who has to join Collingwood and will most likely experience yet another of his senior coaches get sacked this season.
  2. Essendon are known to be horrible to deal with in trade week which is why i suspect noone has had a crack at pick 1, they overvalue everything. they need to understand they did the wrong thing by Hibbo and in part caused him to miss 12 months of his career, they owe it to him to not be tools about this, a future second round pick for him given he's missed 12 months is extremely fair.
  3. Gold coast are rightly arguing that if you rate a guy as being worth 750 k for 5 years you see him as a genuine A grader so pick 6 outright is a fair price, Tigers are weak so they will blink and give up pick 6
  4. Hibberd O McDonald Jetta Hunt TMcDonald Melksham Vince Tyson Lewis Petracca Hogan Kent Garlett Weideman Watts Gawn N.Jones Viney Brayshaw, Oliver, Salem, Harmes
  5. I know this will get howled down, but this is a guy who i think would have captained the Hawks in 2017, is co captains with Nathan Jones totally out of the question? obviously the players vote and all that and i am usually against new players getting in but surely this is a different set of circumstances, talking about a genuine A grade player and A grade leader.
  6. Probably worth closing this thread perhaps now?
  7. O'meara has apparently told the bombers to jog on hahaha
  8. This is a big picture move, we have two areas we need to improve that are far more important than pace at this stage of our development (given we have some quick outside runners already ) we lack leadership and experience, this could go a long way to helping us beat teams like Carlton and Essendon when we're not switched on right away and take us from 10 wins to 14-15 and 10th to 5th sort of thing.
  9. Another one like that would be handy! he's a bloody good young player
  10. Was that the pick we've used on T and O McDonald? or was that 53?
  11. I must admit i wonder if it's SOS protecting his own bacon a bit, he selected the majority of these players at high picks and his hit% was extremely low, getting them to the Blues and into an AFL team makes him and them look a little better.
  12. Dunn to pies Cloke and a pick to dogs Honeychurch to Dees?
  13. No that's fine, i'd rather be pulled up on it, had the day off today, Mrs is fresh out of surgery so bit of time on my hands haha
  14. Gotta be honest, if pick 44 is going to get this deal done, i reckon we should just hand it over and move on to Hibberd. there is no doubt in my mind pick 44 is still a steal for Lewis, both as a player and a leader.
  15. Didn't realise i had posted as much as i have haha, apologies to anyone else who was frustrated by that, happy for the mods to put a limit on my posting or something if they feel that's needed. real shame that this one hasn't come through, Rocky would have been a great inclusion.
  16. Definitely, clearly the Rockliff trade isn't going to happen, and that's fine. but insulting posters should never be acceptable in my opinion.
  17. your attitude is rubbish, this one might not have panned out as it said but this is EXACTLY why posters stop sharing the information, treating SEN as confirmation of anything is a recipe for disaster.
  18. If the Lions still have an interest in Dunn would 29 and Dunn get an upgrade from the Lions to i believe they have pick 19 and 21
  19. No, but i won't totally dismiss this until either C.O.B Thursday or one of the parties involved refutes it, not because i think it will happen but because i am hopeful it might
  20. have we seen any of the parties involved refute this claim themselves yet?
  21. I just find it very interesting that the parties haven't shut this down themselves,
  22. Perhaps, but i reckon moving on some super loyal players like Whitecross who turned down a big deal just last season to stay loyal to the Hawks and a couple of club champions for an injury prone player isn't going to do wonders for morale and club culture, but as you said time will tell.
