  1. you did kind of leave yourself open to it.
  2. No longer suffering symptoms and has started running, provide we ease him in well i'd say 6 weeks isn't out of the question, i have worked with stress fractures quite abit in my job, and while i don't know much at all about Jesse's individual situation i have found that once they start running providing symptoms don't return recovery can be fairly quick
  3. sure, but i still think there was an amazing degree of difficulty involved in what he was able to pull off, for a bloke of 5 games or whatever he has played, and you add the magic we have seen from young Jay, seems like exciting times ahead.
  4. So that means i am not allowed to be stoked that Salem looks a good player so early? some of the things he did on the weekend were just magic, i bet not all could stop a ball at full stretch with one hand in traffic, lose his man and effect a perfect kick through port players to a dees player running full speed in hot alice springs conditions. his kick was 2% off it would have missed bail and he did it with no time to measure, pure instinct.
  5. This is a great idea i think, last year some of the bigger teams were losing out on big dollars through having to play us at the MCG and us being non competitive
  6. Langdon is a good player, not sure how he was overlooked twice.
  7. has anyone on here ever seen a player look more comfortable so early at AFL level? on the weekend, kicking to give us the lead against the top side late in the game slots it through the middle like it's nothing reckon we have an absolute gem here
  8. Im a big fan of the footy department cap idea, mostly because it would screw Collingwood over No reason we can't get 1or 2 really good players at years end
  9. Every saints player sends picks to kids, can't sack them all
  10. Frosty is back, thought this place was getting to sane
  11. Saints players set a midget on fire and vlad thinks it's funny Bootsma send one pic of his ding dong and its the end of the world...
  12. His best he gets alot of the ball, uses it well, Marks well and kicks goals but I don't think he has ever been at his best for a full game
  13. I reckon Wattsy will improve relative to the team, he seems to be right on the edge of becoming an A grade player now, his best he is a match winner, but he has down weeks, but I just get the feeling he is making some serious gains at the minute, I can see him finishing his career as a very good player, and being the bloke to stand up and win us a big final
  14. Now a process of easing him into training without pushing too hard, his recovery can be fairly quick if everything goes well from here.
  15. I was told the offer from the doggies was very similar in terms of dollars, and the trade was pick 20 from us and pick 21 from them, Neeld probably got the deal over the line in the end.
  16. I reckon Georgies mouth would be watering at the prospect of developing Tyson, Viney, Toumpas, Trengove, Kent, Salem, N.Jones, M.Jones and Wattsy, plenty of talent to mould.
  17. Maybe the players are more desperate than we thought to get out of Carlton, who could blame them
  18. He's just a doodle head, not surprising when the offered him up for trade he attracted zero interest.
  19. I have the feeling the coaches think Strauss has more ability than what he's showing
  20. Matt Rosa is a hard running player, David Mackay is a good player with some pace, Mathew Buntine is a previous top 5 pick who I still think has serious upside.
  21. tears of joy maybe? I reckon a few of the boys will be pretty stoked after we belt them.
  22. absolutely, and I think he is the type of player who is going to be a fantastic on field coach, when he and Hogan are down there together I think our scores will improve by at least 4 goals a game which based on our season so far probably equals 4-5 wins that we have missed by that margin so far.
  23. What a pickup this bloke has been! coming from a family of Collingwood members and so on they never really rated him as a player, so I was quite unsure when he was recruited but they have all changed their tune now one of the best forwards in the comp at the minute, his value to the team is impossible to measure, leadership, off the ball unrewarded running and work, multiple leads, fantastic influence in my opinion he would be next in line to be captain after Jones and Grimes
