  1. I reckon it's Jay Kennedy-Harris, He has speed, Skills, leadership qualities, he brings a spark and looks like he has a huge amount of upside I liken him to Allen Christenson, or Mathew Stokes
  2. I don't think there is one this year, Bryce Gibbs is probably not the right type of player, i reckon we collect the compo pick which will probably be pick 4 or 5 and offer both our top picks up for trade, another couple of deals like the Tyson to GWS one will have us looking better and with the Key position targets at the top end the high picks will be more appealing to sides
  3. Hugh Goddard and if Chip leaves Sam Durdin with the compo
  4. Yeah that will be interesting, if that's the case it becomes vital that we replace Chip with a quality free agent if he chooses to leave
  5. Sam Durdin might slip a couple of spots due to an injury he has at the moment, i reckon we will finish 14th and get pick 4 so if chip leaves and we get pick 5 as compo he might be a good option as a replacement with Angus Brayshaw at 4 and Billy stretch at 22
  6. Sam Docherty
  7. I agree, it's hard because the four rookies we i have a i reckon have decent upside, i reckon there would have been debate between him and Neville Jetta as to who got re-rookied.
  8. I didn't use the word weapons.. and he played some promising games at casey, i remember him kicking 5 goals from half forward towards the end of the season and alot of posters hoping he'd get a run in the 1's, can completely understand why he was delisted if you're on the list of a team that wins 2 games and don't get a run there is normally a reason for it, but i felt he might have shown enough to be looked at for one more year, even as a rookie
  9. Thought he had some attributes that were good, a year under George stone and Roosy we could know more about him
  10. Taggert looked okay at times to me, i understand why we delisted him but i thought he was probably worth one more year, or re-drafting as a rookie
  11. Jack should seriously consider getting a new Manager, this one is a dud why would you let Jack go on the footy show when he isn't sure what he is doing, made him look like a dick to everyone.
  12. we were certainly interviewing them, that would be insane without a pretty significant level of confidence in getting their man.
  13. Watts has a hell of alot of talent, if Roos can up his workrate and he comes out of his shell abit he will be our best player next year imo.
  14. I have judged Jack very harshly as a player, kinda part of the deal when you go pick 1, but i think he would be a really good forward with some half decent delivery, he has been okay this year, two weeks ago i was all for trading him, now i'm not sure.
  15. I think Roos is smart enough to know he will need a new game plan that suits our list, Watts is clearly part of that based on his best 22 article
  16. So Mr Watts, how do you feel about the clubs direction now? looks almost certain to sign Paul Roos, Geoff Walsh from all reports looks good too PrIority pick on the way Jesse Hogan coming onto the list or you can go to Carlton who don't look like ever being more than a B- team oh how the tables have turned * Laughs like evil mastermind *
  17. oh you meant lecras sorry i misread that! nah he is definately worth 700k imo all australian quality player. sorry mate
  18. This is why you aren't list manager of an AFL club mate hahaha
  19. I would pay a fully fit lecras 600k a year, i wouldn't pay betts that based on anything i have ever seen, betts is flashy and a good small forward, Lecras can do all betts can do, but can also play at an elite level in the midfield, he is exactly what we need right now, only issue being there is no way in the world he would a: want to come and play for mfc in it's current state b: just re-signed with wce long term.
  20. give the 600 k to mitch robinson and kane lucas and you might be onto something.
  21. get dayle garlett in the draft and use the 600 k on a mid
  22. he wants 600k a year, no thanks
  23. Aaron davey has mick Malthouse as a mentor i know that for a fact and i know alot of other players go outside the club, i think that's just a personal choice and not really a reflection on the club, i however would be upset if watts walked, we have been pretty loyal to the bloke in terms of defending him when his form hasn't stacked up, i think most of it is just dependant on how each person perceives certain actions towards jack from the club.
  24. i think most would just say they are sick of losing unfortunately, playing for us would be abit like standing against a wall and letting everyone throw eggs at them for a moment.
  25. Right this second i'd say Chippa is probably on a par with jonesy as our most important players, he is a must keep from what everyone is saying the other two will take some convincing, Col has every right to use free agency and chase money or a flag i really hope we can keep watts, i think he will be a good 250 game player, hopefully we can sell him a vision of the future.
