One that i think we have got really right is Christian Salem, i think he's a good chance to be the best player out of that draft by the end of his career, and the fact we also got Dom Tyson in that deal makes it a massive win

I don't think Rocket realised what he was walking into, i've heard they're a team of cocky, selfish, egotistical individuals with little to no idea of how to function as a team, they look impressive at times because of the sheer talent levels they have but they don't have the culture, plan, mentality at this stage to do it consistently enough to realise their potential as a team. all of the problems start with the captain imo, great individual player, but their whole plan has basically been get the ball to gaz, they can't function without him, and even when he plays he feeds off that mentality.

The more i think about Aaron VandenBerg the more i think how amazing it is that a bloke can come out of the NEAFL and adjust to the Tempo of AFL with absolutely no issue, he was seriously sharp in round 1, i think that's a reflection of the quality of training and coaches we have, but also of Aaron as a player, some of our blokes have taken quite a long time to adjust in the past.

I think alot of the changes are more a reflection of minimum standards than strategy, Roos wants to send a message that if you don't comply to minimum standards you won't play regardless of who you are
