Wow, Essendon have done us a favor the last two weeks beating two of our competitors. Cant believe they beat Geelong and GWS on the road. The GWS experiment is looking like a failure, same with Gold Coast. The Demetriou legacy. Blew his chance to bring in a Tasmania team and instead created two fake plastic franchises with no substance.

Not saying he would have been a first rounder, but he clearly has talent/potential if half a dozen or more teams were after him. So while we wont have our first round pick we are adding a draft age player at no cost to help cover it. Hes good enough, but he hasn't played an AFL game since 2016, we are loaded with big bodied mids/forwards and the team is hard to break into and will hopefully be even harder to get into as the season progresses. Reckon he and the supporters would be happy enough if he came back injury free and was able to play the season out at Casey and attack a full preseason for once. He deserves a fair run at it.
