16 is certainly a possibility... would mean winning 9 of the last 12. We can do it. If we only win half the remaining games we still win 13 games and a finals spot. But as you say, always aim higher. Lets stick the knife in to the opposition, finish top 4 and head into the finals with a full head of steam.

Our midfield is probably already the best in the comp and thats with all the elite young talent yet to play anywhere near 100 games of footy. The improvement to come will be scary. If you add in Gaff to that.... whats the level above scary?

Nearest the pin, how many goals will Jesse end up kicking in 2018? Currently on 26 goals in 10 games. I'm going with 71.... reckon he will kick a a few big bags in the back half of the season. Thats just for the home and away season , if we play finals (which its looking like we will) he could give 80 a crack.

One of my favorite Neitz games was a more obscure one, it was mid 2000 at Etihad vs the Lions and he had something like 30 possessions and 15 marks at centre half back. He marked everything and just dominated , he was like a giant impenetrable wall across half back. Not as sexy as those epic goal kicking games he had, but it was the perfect CHB game.

I'd be staggered if that were true.. would take some really creative accounting and a lot of our players taking below market value.

I saw Werridee posted and I assumed you had posted our best 22 for next season with Gaff in the side. So disappointed!

Half our team was out of form the first month. It was really weird. So many of our prime movers were down on form, and to make it worse our second tier players were playing like garbage. Somehow we beat the Kangas and Lions, but we did have those two big lulls in both games before getting easily beaten by the Hawks and Tiges. No idea what changed to be honest but I'll just put that first month down to the after effects of the camp drama.

That season had it some amazing stuff. The much hyped arrival of Jeff White from Freo and the excitement of watching a 20 year old athletic beast jump all over his opponents The return of Garry Lyon from all the back issues Neale Danihers first season as coach The Wiz rising to star level and electrifying the league Jim Stynes final season playing great footy and also teacher to apprentice White A great finals series where we were unfortunately shafted due to the broken Final 8 system

The Dogs are playing awful, awful footy. They are weak all over the park. Non functioning forward line, can barely kick goals, weak in contested footy. Their rucks are woeful. We probably average twice as many hitouts per game and Max could break records this week. He will give our mids silver service as always and this week they might get their biggest feast yet. It really should be a massive win for us, but its footy so who knows. They have been getting it inside 50 an above average amount but their entries are terrible an they have no real targets down there.
