Three things I'd love to see in Round 1 (besides the obvious, a win) 1. Christian Petracca to start off the season with a big performance. 30 touches and 4 goals will be just fine thanks 2. Keeping Port under 70 points even with May and Lever out 3. Jayden Hunt making a big impact in the forward line

Whether or not Joel Smith would have played Round 1 or not is irrelevant , the issue here is risking long term groin issues in a young exciting player on the rise and who was one of our few bright spot in JLT. Should never have gone back on the ground.

Ross Lyon does not have what it takes to be resurrecting guys with serious personal issues ie. Hogan, Bennell, McCarthy etc etc Freo would just about be the the worst possible club they could have gone to
