There is no way NN would have stayed at melbourne, and at the end of 2010 would have asked for a trade back home. Would have wasted a pick and development time, and would have possibly only got pick 4 back and probbally gone for T.Lynch at #4 and instead of Cook at #12 and gone for someone else there. Watching NN leave then $kully two #1's would have been too hard for the club He is still a kid and lives at home with his mummy, so could have only got him to stay if she wanted to come live in Melbourne(if mummy said so)

I would think an at least 100 game player is needed to ad some experience to the list, mabee 2. But i think Cloke is to expencive, way to expencive. We should go after Boak only if we loose Maloney Shannon Byrne or Jarrad Moore could be handy pick ups As for the kids if we can get Caddy for #13 it would be better than a pick in the draft, as he is 2 years more advanced than this years crop. Even if he is unproven, was highly rated as a junior and would probably be rated just as high as pick #13 would be at this years draft. Just 2 years futher into the afl system. Rookie list a multiple VFL / SANFL / WAFL Premership player, Someone who knows how to win, the winning mentality might rub off on the players. But are there any out there under say 27-28???

What ever happened to playing each other twice(ie. 1 home 1 away)? Dump the pre-season and extend to 34 rounds and bring in mid week night footy and split 3 rounds into 2 weeks a couple of times also allow a list increase of 4 seinor and 4 rookies or extend the rookie list by 4 or so and allow all to play without being upgraded?

Personally i'd change a few things K.Stevens for J.Bennell (because the concensus says C.Morton family and Co. are not wanted there) J.Caddy would have to come with "steak knives" (due to list size reduction) so....
