Dale took his eyes off the ball and moved straight into him lmao They're worried about his contest in the air as he has flown at everything since minute 1. 1-on-1 bodywork not the best, but that's not necessarily his game.
-
Hibberd will take care of that.
-
Can't see JVR getting in just yet. Laurie might come in for Sparrow or Bowey on current form. Chandler also a fair chance to take Spargo's spot. Dunstan a forced in for Clarry.
-
A hospital handpass in every sense of the word

Paying that much to watch a game in Geelong is probably on you.

Gawn and Jackson probably not as '100%' as Goodwin made out. Smashed at stoppage. Smashed aerially forward of centre (as is tradition) If our gameplan trends towards F50 entries resulting in contested marking contests then we need players who can actually bring the ball to ground. Ben Brown isn't it. He barely gets near it at times.

Jack Viney fully fit is a scary sight The media talks about our pillar mids of Clarry and Trac, but a 100% fit Viney is arguably on the same level He has been massive for the past month, long may it continue

That's what a Melbourne game looks like.

I know it has already been mentioned but anyone reading this thread who hasn't seen his interview on the Gus & Gawny podcast needs to watch it. He speaks about how he used to be an endurance beast but due to his injuries he has never been able to get it together for an AFL season. This season, finally fully fit and showing his full capabilities.
-
Is that locked in if they're named in the 18? So we are playing Brown, Tmac and Weid in the same side? Smith in for Lever, maybe Dunstan in for Viney?
-
Salem will take Gus' spot, JJ sits out for Gus. Pretty straight forward hierarchy in my mind at least.
-
Disregard the tap - the fact that he even got to that contest after being at half back when the ball was kicked was nothing short of remarkable.

An Easter Saturday evening game vs GWS was never going to be conducive to crowd numbers. Not sure what it is with the AFL and scheduling our Easter weekend games vs GWS or Suns. Either way, who cares.

Trent Rivers is clearly not 100% fit but is still so very very good. So important to this team at 20 years of age.

Lucky to be offered to get it down to 1 week if I'm honest. Intentional forearm/elbow to the head, miles off the ball.
-
Completely lost his head. Port are dire
-
Seen it at least twice already, blokes diving into players backs not paid against. Spargo at our forward 50 and Viney at half back. Not even mentioning the ridiculous Port 'mark'
-
He's actually properly fit for essentially the first time in his career with us. Spoke about it on Gus & Gawny the other week - apparently his natural/ideal level is an endurance beast - something we've never seen at MFC.

Watching it back it's a direct attack on someone just doing their job. To bring in the mental health perspective is an absolute joke based on what has taken place and what you're upset about. Morris was reporting facts. To then also try and put it back on Tom Morris and claim he's giving everyone else a bad name is straight up bullying. He is trying to turn everyone else in that room against him, and it should be called out.

Mentioned it in the post game thread but it's one of the most extraordinary press conferences I've seen in the AFL. It bordered on slander at times, claiming Morris was only doing these stories because he supported MFC, calling it muckraking, implying it was hurting the mental health of those mentioned. Beveridge even tried to get Morris thrown out of the press conference (unsuccessfully). Morris stood up for himself repeatedly. This was a dumpster fire that will be replayed of what not to do when challenged in a public space. Just ridiculous. The fact that Bevo mentioned (AND COMPLAINED ABOUT, OUT LOUD), leaking, says it all. Morris merely reported facts made aware to him. Don't lose the plot when they're made public.
-
Absolutely. Bevo directly attacking him asking if he thinks that Fox are proud of his journalism and he responds with 'I'm just doing my job, they back me 100%' was great.
-
Nah it's to do with reporting Hunter was out of the side (yesterday?)
-
One of the worst press conferences I've seen. Insulating a journalist for reporting facts, and questioning him because it came from a leak. A horrible look.
