I was very much aware that a new coach takes a season to bed in.I was staggered that clubs like the MFC even Essenden were so far off the pace re fitness and strenght. Surely these two non negotiables can't be blamed on lack of resources?What has been happening at the football club that these key elements are so sorely lacking,when they a free to obtain?

They have all blurred into the same nothingness since '64.I really can't tell anymore.With the occasional punctuation it hasn't been good.Damn close to giving it away and investing my time and money into something enjoyable. I find blokes on drugs riding bikes through the French country side absolutely stimulating compared to the MFC.

I heard early rumours re:original sponsors abillty to cough up said figures.With overdue and outstanding payments I think we did dodge a bullet.Because of our stance the good will earnt us reliable sponsors.But that is just IMHO.

It's a shame the MFC infighting/factions whatever it is/was costed us 2-4 years of development.This year would have been great to do a Hawthorne 2008. Still like collingwood but gee it's up for grabs.

Sh1te.Nothing I enjoy more then watching these cheating,arrogant flogs lose. The 2000 Qualifying final is still one of my favs.

Like the $cully episode this is another bullet we dodged.We have escaped both with some good will and better candidates.Be thankful for both.
