Yes thankyou. It's almost libellous ( as we are so often warned) I am just going with embarrassing, though I can't imagine what would happen if it was said on here about say, Viney and Goodwin. I could have better observed that the idea of Melksham arising from the ashes as the saviour resembles Petty going forward for a few weeks and resolving long term forward issues. As it happens I' m a fan of both and would find a spot for Maynard if he was available!!!!!

Correct me by showing me your original post. I replied on the basis that you stated McCrae told Maynard to do it. As I said..regardless of AFL mischief he should have been suspended and ,at the time ,that he probably wouldn't be. I am happy to apologise if you show your post. I do think it's old news though in any case

Some of my best memories after the 21 finals and the Norm Smith years were the Neeld era when I would go to the G on Fridsy night and watch good teams compete without having to suffer angst if my favoured option lost. Skills on display

TMac forward is the dumbest move ever,hopefully that's supporter stupid not FD hopeless Petty back makes sense though , he was good there over a period of time as opposed to a couple of weeks forward Maybe it has to be in the twos though It's a pity that by the time Goodwins retrenched ( after a KB loss?) There won't be any obvious alternatives with excellence who will want to coach on Goschs Paddock.

Max is not the best tap ruckman in the comp. He makes the other ruck ineffective though so it becomes mostly a battle between the mids.

Pity he can kick for goal around the like half the league can these days ,but yes I can see what you are saying. Even the Bont gets more support than Trac

Yeah it's been obvious for years that it's his around the ground work and restricting the opposition ruck from tapping directly to his own mids that's his quality. I'm sure every mid in the league know they can rove to him

Well now, with 3 more goals in the first quarter , no junk time goals from rabble in the last,a gimme win last week and they'd have a lock on 2nd in a season where there are "about 12 other teams" vying for the eight and where % will be at a premium as the season rounds up. To say nothing of the two next weeks depending on the Pies injury toll and Jackson playing like it's the 4th quarter 2021. They just beat St Kilda ,that's all. TMac ,Tomlinson ,Salem and a few passes that hit a leading JVR on the chest are the only real high spot takeaways imo Maybe Viney kicking one from nearly 50 shows that improvement is possible A few of them should take notice.
